Thank you for your help and advice. I tried everything you suggested, but it didn't work. I may just have to take it in :( Thanx again!!! I will keep this post up to date on what the problem was, for any other G8 users.... TO BE CONTINUED.......

@ rolham, I viewed your original post prior to posting my own. The thing is, I can't even do a reset by holding down the ''exit'' botton at start-up. It doesn't do anything. I noticed that it works for a G7 but maybe not a G8. I'm sadend because I had to miss a show I was suppost to do this weekend....

I'm stressing out because my g8 is freezing up at 98% on start up. I tried powering up and pushing the exit button at the same time, but had no luck. First time this has ever happened to me.
