Re: Gold on the Ceiling?
Thanks Guys, We have that very board and playing with the velocity and other parameters has finally given us a sound we like. It's not an exact match for the original sound, but it's sufficiently grungy to fit the song. Next challenge is getting the soft pad effect under the piano on Clocks. It neve...

Gold on the Ceiling?
Hi Guys, Haven't been on e forum for a while as I have been relegated back to playing Bass. However, I have persuaded my Mrs to cover keys for us. Still using the old faithful Juno Stage, looking at getting an A88 to back it up and use in the home studio as my old M Audio pro Keys finally died. But ...

Re: Dakota on a JUno Stage
Hey Sorry for not getting back to you Martin,
I did like the patch thanks. I have tweaked it a bit, but the other guys in the band also think its pretty cool. Its interesting but such a fairly simple addition makes a huge difference to the song overall!
Thanks again,
DrG

Re: Gig Bag for Juno Stage
I got a bag from Roland, perfect for the Stage. Its light weight but robust that comes with spacers and an integral holder for any pedals and a usefully BIG outer pocket for power supplies, sheet music, headphones etc. Cost around $100. Its not as padded as I had hoped, so I certainly wouldn't allow...

Re: Weird Sound Issues with Juno Stage
Incidentally, I did go into the System menu and check the output gain and its fine. The volume is also OK. It doesn't sound like a distortion, more like a digital spill over? As I said earlier, its actually very hard to describe but just to make sure it wasn't my overly critical imagination I have h...

Re: Weird Sound Issues with Juno Stage
Thanks Guys,
I'll have a go with your suggestions and see how I get on. My concern is there is a fault developing with the output stage, but as you say Martin, why not on all the sounds and why has it started now as its never been noticeable in the past? Something has changed?
Cheers all.

Re: Weird Sound Issues with Juno Stage
It's worse in the piano setting ( or any piano patch) and with strings. I can't hear it over headphones, but it is evident over my Roland amp. I have tried using a couple of my bass amps and even a Marshal valve state guitar amp and its audible through the too. It seems to be worse with polyphonic p...

Weird Sound Issues with Juno Stage
Hi Guys, I've started noticing that certain patches have a weird sound associated with them. Its rather hard to describe, but its like a digital scratching /tinkling sound that extends after the note. (Kind of reminiscent of latency probs I've had with some virtual applications). Its very pronounced...

Re: Dakota on a JUno Stage
Hey Martijn, Tried your ideas and played with some of the values you suggested. Getting closer to the sound I am after and learning more all the time. If you have the time I would appreciate your ofer of providing a suitable patch. It'd be cool just to Hear it but also to see how you put it together...

Re: Dakota on a JUno Stage
Cheers Martijn, It was the sound I was after. I have had a play the last few nights in between entertaining a 2 yr old! Its been a good way of learning how to program effects. I was almost there but you have suggested a few ideas I hadn't thought of so thats great. I think its better I simply play t...

Dakota on a JUno Stage
Hi Folks, As a newby to the forum and to keyboards ( I am a lapsed bass player!) I am getting up to speed with my Juno Stage. Used it only as a control station with Nuendo to date but now need toplay it live. One of the tracks I am struggling with is Dakota by Stereophonics. Can the Stage reproduce ...
