Re: Integra 7 driver for MacOS: Ventura
Since Roland has abandoned existing customers to pursue sales of new stuff, and because it never occurs to companies like Roland that they could MAKE MONEY by selling updated drivers and modern OS support, I think a lot of people just find ways to use their hardware and then stop coming here looking...

Re: Managed to use USB driver - Mac OSX 10.12.4 Sierra :)
@MariaKrone did you manage to get this running on Mojave? I still don't see the XT in Audio-MIDI-Setup with the GT drivers. It is recognized in the system report though. EDIT: It seems that I now also have strange behaviour with my NI Hardware (Maschine MK II and Komplete Keyboard MK II). Certain t...

Re: V-Synth XT touch not responsive until after a few hours
Since no one ever replied to you... did you buy it? My V-Synth XT is the same. If i don't use it for a few days to weeks, a small bubble of moisture develops in the center of the digitzer. If you play with the angle of light on a dark V-Synth screen, you may see something similar (if you move your f...

Re: Use of D-Beam
Since my V-Synth is the XT, lacking any D-Beams, my only product with a D-Beam is a VG99. It's cool that it works, but it doesn't seem to respond reliably to the end of my guitar unless i wrap something around it (like a pillow case) to make for a larger surface to bounce against (or maybe it's the ...

Re: What's the point of "Local SW" in V-Synth XT??
My phasing issue was solved, but i still would like to know what the logic is behind having a "local off" feature on a synth that lacks keys...

Tip when Librarian fails to open project...
If you're sure the project you're trying to open is compatible with the version of V-Synth Librarian you're using, one of the other causes for this problem that i've noticed is a missing wave folder. While the V-Synth itself doesn't seem to need the folder to load analog-only patches, the Librarian ...

Re: How to avoid phasing while controlling V-Synth XT from D
Found my problem. In case anyone needs to know: My Logic environment setup for my V-Synth XT included a filter for CC16 and CC17 (i can't remember why) and all the MIDI was being sent from the filters and MIDI monitor into another instrument mapped to the same MIDI port again. i don't know why it wa...

How to avoid phasing while controlling V-Synth XT from DAW?
i'm using Logic's "External Instrument" plugin to integrate several external synthesizers into my DAW setup. This works fine with everything but my V-Synth XT. With the V-Synth XT, i get phasing, from what i assume is a MIDI loop. Any notes sent via Logic or my master keyboard results in p...

What's the point of "Local SW" in V-Synth XT??
I am getting phasing while trying to use my V-Synth XT as an "External Instrument". i assume this is because of a MIDI loop. For my Alesis Fusion 8HD, which is my master keyboard, all i have to do is turn off "Local Control" and things work fine. With the V-Synth XT, turning off ...

Re: Mac/V Synth issues
Do you know where I can get one of these MIDI wise adapters you mention? I could only find a dodgy cheap one on Amazon that lots of people have had problems with polyphony and not sending all data etc. Thanks! When I referred to MIDI wise, I should have written... MIDIWise, meaning ref to MIDI... s...

Re: Mac/V Synth issues
ouch! Yes... unfortunately those are the bad news... The good news are that MIDI wise, a MIDI to USB interface that does not require specialized drivers needs to be used for you to be able to connect your V2 to Logic X running under Yosemite. In fact that will be the best to do as it will be indepe...

Re: V-Synth XT - Stuck Notes, N.e.e.d...H.e.l.p
i know this is ancient, but in case anyone is looking to resolve the same problem, i had it and found a solution (well, in my own personal situation). In my case, the stuck note was a D4 only. The solution was to disable "Active Sense" transmission: 1. System settings mode 2. "Cont-ro...

Re: V-Synth XT Screen Sticking
Am i really the ONLY V-Synth XT owner that has this problem???? Every damn summer i have to deal with this. It's not like i can move. i'm dirt poor. Air conditioning doesn't solve it. The only thing that temporarily fixes it is to leave the synth on for hours and let it dry up. It'll happen again if...

Re: PC card problem
Yeah, try a different card brand. I have a generic CF card in a PCMCIA converter that reads fine but crashes the V-Synth upon saving samples. I used a Sandisk CF in the same adapter and all was fine. Clearly the read/write of cards in the V-Synth is finicky.
