Re: 1.5 V. Sounds

I didn't think it was possible to have the 1.5.1 waveforms when using OS2. Am I missing something?

Re: JP-8000 Stargate?

Make a new sound.

The V can handle it.

Re: VC - 3 ??

I doubt Roland will enter into an entirely new field (for them) on a VC card project.

Safe to speculate that they'll adapt something they already patented.

Think along the lines of TB series, Juno 106, JX-8p.

Re: VC - 3 ??

I like that idea. I'd love to see the ability to have the PCM's interact linear or exponentially for some truly WRONG sounds.

Re: v2?

"that's why I'm going to undertake the task of copying all 342 samples to recover the old sounds and patches "

How will you do this?

Re: Spoke to tech support today re: OS2 "bug"

Absolutely agree. After all, this ain't Kazaa...those who have OS2 have already paid for the hardware end, yes?

Spoke to tech support today re: OS2 "bug"

<t>Apparently, the OS 1.5 PCM waves are "locked." Apparently, Roland USA is in the process of trying to obtain a license from Roland Corporate in Japan for these waveforms so poor saps like us can access them by merely loading the "old.prj" deal.<br/> <br/> At present, the only way to play your OS 1...

Re: V-SYNTH OS 2.0 IS AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD!!!

Is it possible to go back abd forth between OS 1.51 and OS2?

Is this the only workaround to retrieving all your old patches?

Re: V-SYNTH OS 2.0 IS AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD!!!

<t>Does anyone know if Roland will address the problem of non-reverse compatibility? Re: Upgrading to version 2 question

That's sort of what I was suggesting, but when you reload your project, can the project patches append to the new ones?

Upgrading to version 2 question

I now have 1.50 and a poopload of customized patches. When I upgrade to version 2, will the old patches be overwritten, or can you have the new patches append to the existing list?
