I really liked the contrabass and cello patches (to misquote an old TV commercial: "There's always room for cello")

The oboe was especially nice.

With the rack ears gone, it looks like you could easily attach some wooden endbells to cover up the exposed sides and dress up the appearance.

Any plans for that?

Don't own an XT, but I can't imagine why you couldn't remove them for table-top use.

To enhance the look, you might be able to replace XT's rack ears with some nice wood:

Done. The project file for that patch (called 'SineyLead') is attached. Note that the patch uses a waveform that is part of the V-Synth's analog wave set (OS V2), so no Wave files are included in the project file.
