Kris,
I'd be interested in hearing how you achieve this.
Thanks,
Justin

Re: Like to edit your V-synth VariOS from a VST?
<t>Might be useful for total recall. For example, you load up a song you worked on last month and the patch and all the tweaks you used are instantly sent to the VSynth. Now admittedly this would be way more useful if the V-Synth were a true multi-timbral device, but I still like the idea because I ...

Re: sequencing software
Thanks anti-pulse I'll check it out.
I'm currently using an Elektron MDUW for sequencing my gear (using the midi machines) after getting tired of using SX3 and Live5 for creating patterns.
I'll let you know how it works out.

Re: sequencing software
anti_pulse,
Have you used the midi sequencing in Live5? How would you compare this to renoise?
I haven't used a tracker since my Atari ST days.

<t>Thanks a million ... this is great!!!<br/> Now we can automate most params without using slots in the mod matrix.<br/> I'm too lazy to look at the manual but do you know if the individual arp steps can be set using SYSEX similar to how you do the mod sequencers?<br/> <br/> Also, anyone know if th...

Re: windows hijacks the card
This has happened to me a lot with PC cards when I remove the card without going through the "stop removable device dialog" or eject drive from explorer first. An icon for this shows up in the task bar when you have a card installed.

<t>So where are you from perfectiondj? Your profile states last tracking was in the US ... but that says nothing about your nationality. Your slang on the other hand sounds decidedly American to me ... yo!<br/> <br/> I can't believe everything is so smooth with the TI either. One glance at the Acces...

Re: Yeah, just use the step modulator.
<t>Having LFO's and envelopes as mod sources in the matrix screen would be nice (especially to modulate other LFOs), but just install the 2.0 upgrade and think of the step modulator as 4 extra LFO's that you can assign to pretty much anything. The term step is deceptive too, as you can use the "smoo...

<t>>> and im not sure why that is so exciting <br/> <br/> Totally agree! Why on earth would you want a static sample of a VSynth patch? That's so .... 1980.<br/> You would lose all that great control you have over time and format etc, using the dbeams, tt-pad, knobs...<br/> Am I missing something he...

Re: Post your studio pictures.
k-rite, I have posted some more recent pics below. Basically I got rid of my mixers because I had no room after getting the 24in WS LCDs. To replace the mixers I have 3 Behringer ADA8000s going into a RME HDSP9652 via ADAT as well as a Presonus Eureka via SPDIF. Then I use a Presonus Central Station...

Re: VC-1 can it be copied?
I've already tried for backup purposes (honestly ... I have nothing but contempt for people who distribute pirated software) and it appears to be protected somehow. The binary files can be copied to another card but this card will not boot.
