Re: NEWS!: Coming Soon!
Quinnx, that is great news. Can you at least tell us if this product is for sound generation or midi sequencing or something else?

Why no drum sounds on JD-XA??
JD-XA is a lovely machine with 4 analog sounds + the super natural sounds + step sequencing... BUT why oh why exclude the drum sounds from it when you have the step sequencing right there? Was it so hard to include the drum sounds so we could make EDM with it easily without a laptop?!! JD-XI has dru...

Re: Patch Down via button
You should be able to set up the d-beam controller to do that (i.e. when you wave your hand over the d-beam, it decrements). Disclaimer: I haven't actually tested this. But I know the d-beam can send control changes in "assignable" mode. Highly likely there is a control change for your nee...

Re: Recording Live mode? Tranfer 8 patches to Studio mode?
Is there a particular reason you want to do the recording in Studio mode? I am asking because you can record in Live mode as well. All the sequencing functionality is there. The main loss is that you have 8 parts available, not 16. All you need to do is, while in Live mode, hit Record and start reco...

Re: Adding effects on rhythm parts
When I do that, I add effects to one sound within the drum kit (such as kick, snare) but not all of them. I want to add effects to all sounds within a drum kit. That's the issue. Please check it out on your Fantom G and you will see.

Adding effects on rhythm parts
So I am recording a song on the Fantom G... I want to add reverb to the drum part (Part 10). However, it seems like there is no way of adding reverb to ALL tones of the drum kit. You have to add them one tone at a time (i.e. kick drum, snare drum, etc... separately one by one). Why is this the case?...

Re: 90s Pop with Fantom G...
Does anybody know a good website where I can download common midi loops for pop music? I am happy to pay some money to get a package of loops, just not several hundred pounds. Thanks.

Re: 90s Pop with Fantom G...
Interesting. We pay lots of money for the Fantom and I love the instrument. But the built in rhythm patterns are absolutely useless. Like seriously useless... Sorry for the rant.

Accessing the GM2 sounds of Gaia
Hi All I want to access the GM2 sounds of Gaia from my Fantom G sequencer. As seen in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceDo-LCZ9U4 I connected Gaia to Fantom G via midi cable. I can see that the 16 external midi channels of Fantom are being used to generate GM2 sounds on the Gaia. So that...

90s Pop with Fantom G...
Hi everybody, I want to use my Fantom G to play 90s songs. Really simple songs similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44sIPL9xIUo However, I am facing a few challenges: 1) I want to rely on Fantom G's internal phrases for pop music rhythms but I cant find classic, simple pop rhythms despit...

Re: Question on priorities
Macska, thank you for taking the time to type that. Very helpful. I am not that yet at that level (I can't play Blue Bossa with 1 hour of work) but I understand where you are coming from. I do need to put my brain to use more and practice proactively. I will do this. I unfortunately don't have 3 hou...

Question on priorities
Hi everybody Apologies for asking a generic question on Fantom G forum but this forum is full of experienced people, hard to find an audience like this. I have a Fantom G and a Gaia. I like electronic music and want to play these. House, trance etc. I started playing keyboard about 2 years ago and h...
