First your samples are in the RAM (temporary memory), which will be gone when you switch off your Fantom. You have to save the samples from RAM to your projects on your USB stick. This kind of RAM for the Fantom is quite "old" PC RAM and therefore expensive. Don't ask why Roland uses it. T...

Hi Brian, I don't know the drum sounds of MC909 in detail, but I also use a seperate device (MC808) as Fantom G definitely doesn't have a wide variety of great drum sounds (for my needs). Or you have to update with Art's drums expansion.

I can only repeat that the new patches of 1.50 are great and fresh. I wish all preset patches would be refreshed like that in the near future. Then the G would be mind blowing...

Increasing the number of songs would be fine.

I would prefer an increased number of user patches instead! What do you think? I think that's quite limiting. As I own Art's sound packages I have no free patches left and don't what to delete any of them for own created patches.

Hi fjuan,

I don't have my G available, but it should be able in "phrase edit" under "modify". There's a point "change channel" or similar. You can change from channel (part) 1 to 2, for example. That sould work, please try.
