G Features to X
Do you think that there is any chance that some of the new features will make its way into an X upgrade?

Transport Control of Sonar 7 from Fantom
<t>I set up my Fantom X8 so that I can use the basic transport controls on the keyboard to control Sonar 7. However, I could not get 2 pieces working:<br/> <br/> 1. The Forward and Rewind buttons on the Fantom only work if I have a song loaded. And, they only move to the end of the Fantom song, not ...

Re: Recording volume changes and fades etc
<t>Is there a way to tell the sequencer to ignore previous volume changes (without deleting them all)? If I record volume changes via the mixer and, at some point later want to make mass changes, I end up fighting the already recorded values. Is there any clean way around this?<br/> <br/> Thanks,<br...

Re: How to set unique effects for parts in a performance
<t>It can have the same effects ONLY if you resample it. It can not natively have the same effects.<br/> <br/> The reason that this is such a limitation is that the effects are so much a part of the sound creation. A patch is defined by many things and one way that the fantom gets such great sounds ...

Re: multiple soundbanks on one CF card **edit**
I am using a similar directory structure. It is easy to copy the banks you need that way.
However, on my X8, I have to turn the keyboard off and on again to recognize the new bank. Poping the card in and out doesn't work.
Did you do something else to get that to work?

Which means that you can only have 3 patches in Performance mode. Any patch past 3 will NOT be able to have the same effects as in Patch mode.

Re: need an OPINION within 24hours ! PLEASE!...
<t>Over the summer I sold my XR on ebay for $1200 and bought the X8. I loved the sounds on the XR and needed a new keyboard. I love the X8, although there are a few things about it that really annoy me (like patches sounding different in Patch Mode and Performance Mode [don't tell me about the tutor...

Re: No FX. I'll better kill myself
<t>Also, unfortunately, the FAQ on fixing this issue is wrong.<br/> <br/> >> Adjust the box underneath the Part number to read PAT 1 (or 2, 3, etc., corresponding to whatever Part number you assigned the Patch). This tells the Routing function that you want the output destination of that part to be ...

Re: Fantom X Librarian and Editor not friendly
<t>The editor and librarian stink. They are the worst pieces of software around. The librarian is braindead and does nothing to make life easy for one who has lots of patches.<br/> <br/> The editor is worse. First, you can't even edit or add arpegios, drum patterns, etc. Who forgot to add that funct...

Patches should retain their MFX settings when being used in performance mode.

Global Pad Velocity
Is there a way to set the pads to respond to a global set velocity instead of having to edit each pad individualy from REAL to 127?
