Re: midi controller for organ drawbars?
I agree with you. The price is very high. What you must remember are two things before you say its too high Ocean Beach is a one man operation, Dave himself. The controller is a boutique product with a small market target, albeit most clonewheels respond to the DB1 . I think for the amount of work ...

Re: Are SuperNatural acoustics downloadable?
I didn't try but if someone could upload one SN-A sound from the integra 7 would be nice. I think it's the same thing like in the Kurzweil Artis and it's hided Kore 64 expansion kit in there :) It's not cost effective to release so similar product like I7 and FA. I Think it's possible to importing ...

Re: 024 TW Organ modify with Harmonic Bars
ah, that is great, musicman100. So anyway it is no problem with the db1. Are there presets for the FA or did you program it? with the DB1 configuration its all AUTOMATIC. hook the db1 up to your laptop via midi , bring up the program, select the Fa06/08 and load, BUT you ave to tell it what part th...

Re: 024 TW Organ modify with Harmonic Bars
The other question: I could not find out what kind of non-CC messages the DB-1 is able to send since it seems to work only with CC messages. For that I could not find any way to control the FA's drawbars (which would be cool to control them partly with the knobs!). Anyway, Ocean Beach advertises ex...

TW Organ noCC filtering what was Roland thinking?
I just discovered that if you instate the TW organ model in layer one of a live set(where it can only reside) the midi filters for that layer do NOT affect the TW, so far the hold and pitch bend function. You can un-check the boxes all day long but if you press the sustain, the organ sustains. WHY R...

Re: Vibrato on Sax SN Tones
yes you can remove the vibrato, go into layer, modify, vibrato, and slide the depth to -64... then use a controller set the target to depth, and add vibrato that way. I use a continuous controller plugged into switch 2, assign, it to aftertouch , and the target to vibrato depth. I then can play and ...

Re: JP50 organs
so far so good on the Ocean Beach.
One thing disturbing I find with the TW Organ.
I cannot seem to filter out the hold pedal and pitch bend, no matter what I set the layer one midi filters to .
It only occurs with the TW model , any other sound in any other layer can be filtered.

Re: JP50 organs
I just received my J50 and had one day to program it for a gig last night. I use bread and butter sounds and not a lot of synth patches, so I was going to be stressing the limits of the J50for those, The gig went fine, I use Organ, AP, EP, Horns strings, clav etc Let me comment on the organ tones, w...

Re: Any ORGAN demo
There is a small organ demo from the Jupiter 80. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQBS2wL2EnA&feature=player_detailpage#t=465s Its japanese, but from what I can figure out, there is rotary speaker control for the organs. But there does not appear to be any C/V (chorus, vibrato) modeling on the or...

Re: Lucina experience
<t>I thought about the M-Audio Wireless Midi combo to go with the Lucina, but I am picking songs where I dont need the layer or splits that come from my other boards, so thus no midi ing them up from the strap-on. <br/> <br/> Yes as B4D says, the organs and eps aren't up to the level of our electros...

Re: Lucina experience
<t>Another golden oldie here LOL 58 y/o and used my new Lucina on its maiden voyage a few weeks ago. I am using the internal sounds and they are very usable. I step from behind my SV-1 and Electro 3 and got on the dance floor and "danced" with some of the ladies. Using a lead synth sound plus Organs...

Re: Recording to Boss Micro BR
<t>he is recording to a Boss Micro BR so there is NO digital input on the recorder, he will have to go analogue. Also he will need a Y adaptor (if he wants stereo) that will connect the audio out of the Fanton 1/4 inch mono to a Y 1/8 inch stereo plug. Yes he could use the 1/4 inch guitar input but ...

Latch Leslie speed on Juno G ?
<t>I tried a Juno G in a music store yesterday and could not find a setting to latch the leslie fx speed. The patches were set up on D beam and mod lever, and they would switch speeds (leslie fast) but not latch them. I tried looking through the Menu pages and did not find anything. I believe the su...
