Hello all.
Does anyone know where I can get a multi-instrument for Logic 7 that is all set up with the patch names for the Fantom-S 6? I've struck out in my online searches. Thanks.

how to control Logic's RECORD with Fantom-S
<t>I've got my Fantom-S as the master and Logic 7 as slave, but i cant figure out how to record my tracks from the Fantom into Logic. I tried pressing record in Logic, then play on the Fantom, but that just started playing Logic without recording. I also tried pressing record in Logic, then starting...

how to stop the transmission of a midi note on
<t>i've got my Fantom-S as the master, syncing to Logic, where i'm running Kontakt 2 with a Trigger Finger. problem is, the note on message coming from the Fantom os triggering a snare I have on the same note (D1) on the Tirgger Finger. it seems that they are sharing the same midi channel, though i ...

Re: dirty south drum rolls
<t>whoa bigbrothermotown.....i definitely see where you're coming from, and your suggestions about how to get that 'feel' are valid.....but to criticize people for 'playing' their drumbeats on the pads seems a little strange to me. i'd say my best instrument is drums (on midi controller pads). you g...

Re: Seperating drums during record out
the way i do this is by going to EDIT from the mixer, hitting a pad, then turning off the samples on that pad. i isolate one sound and record it, then switch it around for the next sound.

sampled something in stereo...
and now i'd like to have the sample in mono, both channels combined coming out of both speakers. it doesn't seem possible at first glance, but let me know if there's a way to do it. thanks.

Re: XR vs X8 features gain or loss
<t>about the drum pads...<br/> <br/> check the PAD SETTING and see if the sensitivity is set to LIGHT, MEDIUM, or HEAVY. i usually use the LIGHT setting, and if you dont need them to be velocity-sensitive you can set the common volume to 127.<br/> <br/> i have a fantom-s, but i think those things ar...

Re: How to play fully a sample.
<t>hey Ettinger-<br/> <br/> i think it's because your sample (as well as many of my own) are pretty long, and the release doesn't cover the entire thing at full volume. it may even fade out before it's over. the only way i've been able to work around this is by holding the key for a little while bef...

i've got a Fantom-S, but i think it should be similar.
