Re: William Coakley - Perfect Pianos

I like SRX-11.

Coakley's piano samples would take too long to load.

Re: MC 909 + SRX cards= V-synth

I use my computer as the master sequencer to drive the Fantom X8.

Editing in Cakewalk (Sonar) is much easier than the Fantom X.

Re: Emulation for Fantom X8

<t>Sorry to not answer your question, but I have alternative ideas:

1) use a two wheel hand truck to move the fantom X8 (in the case) up and down the stairs

2) move the computer to the band rehearsal room

3) edit the Fantom X8 with the fantastic color screen!
<b...

V-Piano

The cool thing about the G8 is that the V-Piano uses four of the G8 processors.

All hail the V-Piano!

Re: Acoustic pianos in Ultimate Keys?

There is the Yamaha CP-70 piano that is a good representation of the original.

SRX-11 Complete Piano is the correct choice for grand piano.

<t>Yes, they are Zip-100 format like shown on the front of the box.

I found a Zip-100 drive in my old dead 1994 Gateway computer. Re: JX-3P

The Jupiter-8 and Juno-60 were DCB.

The Jupiter-6 was the first midi.

The JX-3P came out after the Jupiter-6.

Re: SRX Complete Piano Quality?

I have the Complete Piano SRX-11 loaded in my X8. The sound is more like a real grand piano. The notes have more sustain and better harmonics.

Ultimate Grand and SoTru are great pianos in the standard Fantom X package.
