Re: Calling Percussionists ...
Further to last message, I've discovered that the on the Fantom S it's the GM:215 patch (reverse cymbal) effect that I want but you can't edit this patch - but that's the sound I'm looking for ... any ideas?

Re: Calling Percussionists ...
<t>Hi Midiguru<br/> <br/> Thanks for the reply! YES PLEASE any help with the filter settings would be much appreciated. The song is a very atmospheric ballad and I'm to achieve a very smooth crescendo on the cymbal. I'm really a "hands-on-keys" kinda guy and struggle with the programming/tweaking st...

Re: Calling Percussionists ...
<t>Ummmm ... well I'm almost there guys with this cymbal roll but it sounds kinda "harsh"? Is there anyway of softening the affect? Is it purely down to the drum kits I'm using? I guess I need the effect of the kinda sticks they use in an orchestra on the Timps but I can't figure out how to get this...

Re: Audio Input socket on Fantom
Kulagin,
Is there an issue using the fantom with "pre-amp" of "phantom power"? I'm not very knowledgeable on these matters but read these things in the forums ...
Thanks

Calling Percussionists ...
<t>Hi guys<br/> <br/> Apologies for the "mini" flood of posts but I'm on a steep learning curve!!!<br/> <br/> Ok - I'm a bit stuck trying to create a "cymbal roll" on the Fantom S going from very quiet to medium loud. Re: Audio Input socket on Fantom
Don I don't connect with midi ... the output from my fantom is via SPDIF digital into cubase so it's all "audio .wav" in cubase ... I'm just wondering if the mic signal output from the fantom will be as good as using a mixer with mic preamp?

Audio Input socket on Fantom
Hi guys ...
I've noticed that the external source audio input on the fantom has a "microphone" input setting.
Does this mean that it's ok to plug in a mic and record vocals through the fantom into Cubase?

Should I zero all the Hi, Mid Lo settings on the Fantom and ...
