Re: Working methods on the Fantom-G
collating around 1,000 that I think might inspire compositions a 1000? boy, you sure are easily insprired! :-) No pun intended! Honestly, why don't you shrink down the number of your inspiring beats to, let's say, a hundred? It'll make work 4 ya easier... Filter. Reduce. Abstract. Life isn't THAT c...

Re: Price increase
So it must be something else! Maybe it is a upcomig upgrade or update.... I don't know, I was hoping some of you guys did!
I fear, this all is just wishful thinking! Such a price jump would be worth A BIG UPGRADE.
But I think it's just BIG GREED.

<t>Thanks for your answers so far!

@ Art:
Sure I have looked at Sinevibe, looks promising!

@ Quinnx.
I agree with you, but have to say that (mostly) my time is little for creating from scratch and that the results are not always as I planned. Re: VOTING TIME: What Future ARX Boards Do You Want?
I'd go for these: • 4-part virtual analog synth, with an engine similar to the SH-201 • Voice modeling board, similar to the VC-2 card ... plus an option the get a "SRX (plus more) Sound Library" on DVD as mentioned earlier by CYCLOPS. Sounds like a great idea! If Roland cannot (or don't w...

Re: NEW OS = NEW PATCHES?
Okay, let's say IT IS POSSIBLE to add new patches, would that rather mean that Roland... a.) had to get rid of some patches first in order to get in some new ones? Problem could be: Users would have re-arrange already done projects. Or would that mean that Roland... b.) simply add some extra patches...

You deserve a big THANK YOU!
That's what I call a good contribution of what some others call "THE FANTOM EXPERIENCE" (...and we all know who I am addressing to, don't we?)

2 new (?) sound demos from www.roland.jp
I found this on the Japanese website. New? I don't know, haven't seen these here 'til now... You find the two sound files at the very bottom of this page... http://mnavi.roland.jp/synthesizer/200804_02.html The first is a demo for Patch Remain in Live Mode. The second as well, but with a beat in the...

Septimo, I assume you wanted to answer with the full version:
"Jack of all trades, master of none, though ofttimes better than master of one."
...because the abbreviated (half) version is frequently used a insult...
