Hey hook up a mic thru the effects (in real time) and it is great fun! Same for you guitarists.

Re: SD XD memory card with adaptor?
Hey da-man
Zackly why I went for the SD option. I seemed to have a few around too (PDA, camera etc) so it seemed logical to just buy the adapter - and saved $$$. And they go in the Mac and PC.

Sonar Effects
<r>Sonar does not come with lots of effects but there are many free vst ones avalable on the web. A good place to start is <URL url="http://www.kvraudio.com/">http://www.kvraudio.com/</URL> (search using free as one of the fields), Sure the quality varies but there are some good one out there. Re: Pad options?
Thanks for your reply Artemo.
That would be OK but not as usefull as being able to choose patterns like a drum machine.
(Anybody collecting suggestions for Roland?)

Re: Velocity Switching
<t>Hi Tony<br/> I know this is an old post but I am new to the Fantom and was surprised to find no velocity switching as part of Performance mode (as the Korg Triton etc does). Would be on my wish list for an update!<br/> <br/> (was about to ask this but found your post via search)<br/> <br/> Foden....

Pad options?
<t>Hi Team<br/> Is there any way of setting the rhythm pads to complete the current pattern before changing to a new pattern (pad)? On my Roland drum machine, when playing live, I can hit different pads (eg a fill) and the next pattern will play after the current pattern is completed (at the end of ...

Mixer
<t>I am onto my second Behringer mixer. Had a 16 and a while back upgraded it and have been been very happy. I have used it live a but mostly in a home studio situ. I also use a portable 2 mic B unit as well.<br/> Sure it is not top of the line but for the money has been great. I rarely use the inte...

qdibiase - Scat
<t>Hi Q<br/> I have some samples of the scat sounds from the RD150 (self sampled) if you wanted to make up your own patch. I definitely have the top three layers which I set up for my Yamaha EX5. I compressed them for the Yam patch set so it would fit on a floppy! - and it sounds ok tho!<br/> <br/> ...

Demo
<t>Hi William<br/> Hang in here anyway!<br/> I hope the last suggestion did not get lost after these last posts!<br/> <br/> 'William - another option? Maybe releasing just one piano for the Fantom that some of us could try - for a more modest price - with an option to upgrade to the full disk?'<br/>...

Demo
<t>William - when you make the comment 'how does it sound when I play it?' then I worry - you missed my point earlier. An instrument is not only about sound, but also how it responds to an individual playing it - even electronic ones! - hence why there are many professional musicians who do not own ...

Demo
<t>Hi William<br/> If they are that good you may be able to sell more with a demo. I agree an octave is too much. There is a challenge for you as a good programmer! <br/> <br/> (I would not have brought a Fantom without auditioning it! - nor would I have bought one just because somebody else (even t...

Piano Demo
<t>Hi William<br/> Interesting discussion abou the piano! Is there a chance you could produce a playable demo of your piano for the Fantom - I do NOT mean the whole piano! - maybe up to an octave? Yes I have listened to the demo from your site BUT! have found in the past that buying from just listen...
