Zackly why I went for the SD option. I seemed to have a few around too (PDA, camera etc) so it seemed logical to just buy the adapter - and saved $$$. And they go in the Mac and PC.

Yes I use a 512 SD card and adapter with the X6. No Probs.

That would be OK but not as usefull as being able to choose patterns like a drum machine.
