Re: Where is the Mark Set / Mark Clear Functions?
I'm glad someone else realized this as a problem. I brought this up about a month ago after the update. It can be done but not very quickly like on the Fantom X.

I'm not trying to get into a pissing match here. I'm only trying to help.
Just trying to use my knowledge to help a fellow Fantom user.
I'm done, life continues.

Re: All my files have suddenly disappeared. HELP!!!!!
That's exactly why I said I didn't think that his problem was related to a corrupt USB driver. You could not read your fantom internal or card memory through USB. With his issue, he was able to read the files through USB.

Re: All my files have suddenly disappeared. HELP!!!!!
<t>It doesn't matter if it's internal or on a PC card. It still can be done as long as the Fantom is connected via USB and there is a drive letter associated. It seems that running error checking will not work. I have a friend who had the same issue and he ran error checking and made the issue worse...

Re: All my files have suddenly disappeared. HELP!!!!!
<r>howardS, Not sure if that's the same issue. Your issue sounds more like a connection issue between the computer and the Fantom. His issue is regarding corruted files on the Fantom.<br/> <br/> roymazz, I have had this issue before and have suggested a fix on here before and it works. Takes a littl...

Re: I NEED HELP!!! Artemiy... Anybody?
<t>I've had this problem before and I was able to correct it by using the chkdsk utility in Windows. It renames all of the files as file001, File002, etc. But I was able to recover 100% of my songs and samples. Not sure if this will work for you now since you have already formated the card. I have r...

Re: hip hop tracks produced on fantom g
<t>It's good to see other Hip hop heads on this site. Tracks are hot. Some people here may not understand hip hop or may consider hip hop noise. I've heard alot of music here that I don't prefer and don't understand, but I can't critique what I don't generally listen to or understand. I'm sure that'...

Re: Play Fantom x6 using my car as power supply and speakers
I've done this using a 600W power invertor in my ford Expedition on a long road trip. The audio cables were plugged into the Aux jack on my radio. I didn't experience any issues.

Re: Project vs Internal Memory
<t>I liked how the X was able to load all samples in memory at startup. Yes it took 20+ minutes to load but after loading, you had access to all of your Kits at any time. I don't like the new workflow. I think it works best for live performers. Another reason why I'm returning my G6 next week and go...

Re: Firmware 1.10 NOW! Available:
Does anyone know how to select multiple samples when creating a multisample. I am still only able to choose 1 sample at a time to add to a newly created multisample. Maybe I'm missing something here.

I called the Roland Support number yesterday and asked them about the update. I was told that the update will be released next week and it will include multisampling.

L56,
After Step 3, my A.D.D kicked in. I would never make it to 61.
I can say that it's the greatest sound module ever. Now if I can only figure out a way to fit it into my rack......

Re: Sequencer no Copy and Paste!? Delete/Erase most basic fu
<r>L56,<br/> <br/> Now do I mention anywhere in that post that I want to layer samples? As I said in the original post, I want to use 61 SEPARATE samples across each key of my keyboard. This cannot be done.<br/> <br/> This can easily be done on the Fantom S and the Fantom X which I've owned both eve...

Re: Sequencer no Copy and Paste!? Delete/Erase most basic fu
<t>L56,<br/> <br/> Read my Post below that you are referring to<br/> <br/> BigBrotherMotown , I completely agree with you 100%. I am one of the users who did in fact purchase the Fantom G. MultiSampling is vital to the type of music that I make. I think that some of the basic functions of the X and ...
