All you have to do is install the usb midi driver, it's on the Roland site and the directions are in the file that you download.

very dumb idea. I sample like a whore and make kits that fill the whole keyboard... sticking with the X it seems.

Also, if your not deadset on the keyboard or sequencing on the color LCD, you can edit the sounds on the PC which is why I chose the rack. I like the extra expansions and the space I save.
