1.2 --> 1.3 update question
<t>I thought I asked this a few months ago, but I can't find my posting anywhere. <br/> <br/> From what I've read on the 1.3 update, it will make some changes to favorites, livesets, and will add new sounds/sets/etc. <br/> <br/> What happens to all of my existing favorites and livesets, etc? are the...

Bootup to User001 instead of Preset001?
I Thought I asked this several months ago, but cannot find the posting. Is it possible to boot up to live set user001 instead of preset001, so that I don't have to hunt for my live sets every boot?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: NEW AX SYNTH LOOKS 'SWEET'!!!
Someday, I hope they include a wireless MIDI and audio interface option. M-Audio had the MidAir for a short while, but it is no longer in production. buyin wireless midi and audio interfaces to roam free is more expensive than the AX itself!

Re: Confused on global settings/live sets
Thanks for the suggestion. I am already using 'temp' for the slider value.

Re: Studio pictures with Fantom G
I've not seen any live setups yet. I'll throw mine out there. I don't have shots of just the gear - unfortunatly my ugly mug is in all of them. (Dang it if one of the best shots for showing the keys was back when I blew two disks in my back, and got fat while recovering!) Bottom: Fantom G7 (replaced...

Re: multiple keyboards
<r>Whenever I get asked about why I tote multiple keyboards to a gig, my response is: <br/> <br/> "Why does the guitar player need an acoustic AND an electric, and why does the drummer have three Toms and Two crash cymbals"? <E>:o</E>)<br/> <br/> It all depends on what you are doing with them, and t...

Confused on global settings/live sets
<t>I am getting thoroughly confused what is happening with global settings when I create or save edits to a live set.<br/> <br/> It seems that every time I save a live set, the slider levels, active pad, etc on OTHER live sets are also getting changed.<br/> <br/> The other night, for example, I spen...

Re: FG with Mixer or/with DI Box unit?
<t>I use both - a mixer with 4 subs going to a Rapco 4-channel DI.<br/> <br/> This allows me to insert rack effects as auxes, and mix all keyboards down to 4 separate channels to go to FOH. Pretty much, every keyboard gets it own output to FOH, which sound guys love, since they get a dedicated chann...

Re: Pre-selecting which pad is selected for live set
<t>Yup, it is sys write that saves it. However, this seems to be a global setting, and will preset the default pad for *all* livesets to whatever you have selected. <br/> <br/> I'm having similar issues trying to define which part is active by default per live set. I have a couple patches where I wa...

Pre-selecting which pad is selected for live set
<r>I have a bread-and-butter Liveset with favorite pianos/EPS/etc enabled by switching the pad numbers. I had always had pad#3 enabled by default when I switched to that Liveset.<br/> <br/> Somewhere along the line, this changed to pad#1 being selected by default, and I can't recall for the life of ...

Re: Mastering effects and playing live
<t>I play live exclusively, and globally enable Mastering at all times so the right sw2 button is enabled with it from boot-up. <br/> <br/> Mastering brings all the frequencies up to a more normalized level, sounds fatter, and bites through the mix better. The FOH guy can tweak the eq from there if ...

copy/paste Chorus/Reverb settings from patch to live?
<t>When re-creating the chorus/reverb settings in live mode for a patch, is there any way to copy/paste the settings from patch mode to live mode, to eliminate having to write down the settings?<br/> <br/> I thought there was a copy/paste method somewhere. (man I wish Roland would add a "clone" func...

Re: Fantom Yase 2.1
I am speciffically curious about boot-up time, not transfer time. i.e. if I load in a whoile bunch of horn, string, piano, etc libraries, am I going to face a 10-minute bootup while all user samples load, or are they only loaded when the patch is accessed?
