Re: Cubase Definitions Attachment
I,m not familiar with Cubase LE but i'll try. Go to midi device manager, open the fantom device, or open it from the track edit page if possible. There should be a menu bar above that says "Device". go to the "Bank Assignment" and assign the banks for each Channel.

Re: Performance - change midi channel - need HELP!!
You have part 1 and 2 set on the same midi channel so they will react exactly the same. You need to change the channel on part 1 or set the (Rx) to OFF.

Re: Cubase Help
You need to load the Fantom X device file into cubase to access patches. You need to set up a performance on the fantom with all of the parts set to a different midi channel. set the fantom to "slave"
This should get you started.

Re: Fantom XR/SD Card problem
Do you have a laptop to test the card in?
If the problem persists, you may have a faulty adapter.

One way is to load a standard GM or GM2 device file and assign it to the same output, and just use that. That is what I do in Cubase

Re: Fantomx> Cubase
<t>I don't know why your Key editor wont open. Generally, when you double click on a track ( that is the actual track, not the track info window), it will open the key editor, or you can open it from the midi menu. You first have to select a track in the right track window. Not the left. If the prob...

<t>You can open the midi device by (1) clicking the open device button in the track window, next to the channel selector or (2) go to the midi device manager, click on the Fantom X, then the "open device" button. this will give you access to the Fantom Setup. The small menu bar at the top will give ...
