Re: Wireless Adapter
I use the Yamaha MIDI adapter as above. Works perfectly on FA-06 and Lucina AX09

Re: Chord Memory Function Not Working?
Can't you choose the split point to give more keys in the left hand (although 61 note keyboards aren't great for splits)? If the left hand chords are too low can't you just up the octave parameter in the patch(s) used for the left hand split by +1 or +2 or doesn't this work Roland have had the chord...
Re: advise.
I don't think YOU should be paying anything for the repair. Roland keyboards come with a three year warranty and you should not be having problems like this. Your Juno Gi can not be more than 10 months old? Agreed. There is no way you should be paying anything. The faults are manufacturing faults (...

Re: AX-Synth sounds on AX Lucina problem
If you want to stay with Roland sounds, a Sonic Cell might be your best bet - not cheap but flexible and expandable.
Alternatively, the Korg Microstation is one hell of a sound module for the money + sequencer, arpeggiators etc.

Re: advise.
I assume you have already checked it out just using headphones only. Does the sample buzz sound the same? Can you still hear the volume knob noise?

Re: I modulated too hard... :(
Yeh, It's weird; I opened up and fixed the mod bar with some super-glue and fire, and I actually miss the broken one! It was indeed broken in the same way as yours, and I miss being able to just wack it on when i'm playing organ and not have to keep my hand on it. Might have to open up again and br...

Re: SMF PLAYBACK
Yes, It is a problem. And you can't reassign the instruments either on the Stage. I checked this out with Roland some time back and their answer was that the Stage has a limited MIDI file player not a fully fledged sequencer. In my experience most SMFs play OK but not all (and I don't know why). How...

Re: Setting a Midi controller to Lucina AX-09
Oh, I understand it now.. Well, I'm not going to replace the Lucina because I actually got it for 300$ (from a friend, somewhere in the far east) and found out it was a great thing, at my home studio it is also the MIDI controller (I work with alot of awesome VSTs like Omnisphere) and also good for...

Re: Setting a Midi controller to Lucina AX-09
Well, I hope someone here can answer me, this time I'll be more clear. The controller is a Yamaha P140. I want to play the P140 keybed and get the sound of the Lucina. The P14O has 3 Midi inputs (In, Out, and something else, I don't know what) and the Lucina only has Midi out. Is that possible? I m...

AX-09 Patch Modulation Setting
<t>Anyone know if the modulation level on organ patches can be edited on the Lucina? I mostly use organs with the modulation fixed at max rather than having to use the modulation bar (which works well). <br/> <br/> I can see a limited number of patch parameters can be modified (reverb, portamento et...

Re: Why did Roland have to come out with a black one?
Because black is the only colour for a keyboard? (oh! and Nord Red obviously!)
The black sparkle finish on my AX-09 is superb. Gives a real quality finish to the board (unlike Roland white IMO)

Re: is sound bank from fantom X or G?
<t>I actually find them very playable in a live band setting. Acoustic piano is not the finest (got a NE3 for that) but really cut through the mix as do the EPs and organs - guitars are really good as they seem to have the bender/mod bar balance spot on. Even like the "Honky Tonk" piano. <br/> <br/>...

Re: Latest OS Version
I'm also using the original v1.02 and can't see any update on the Roland UK or US sites.
Anyone know for sure if there is an official update? - it is certainly needed!

Re: Lucina experience
<t>Thanks for the info and advice guys. <br/> <br/> I noticed the tone list for the Lucina doesn't really match up with the Juno Stage when it comes to organs (maybe they are from the Fantom G?) but I only need something which is usable and don't expect it to match the Electro (nothing does!). Same ...
