JP-08 not receiving transpose data over midi
Hi - I can't get my JP08 to recognise note transpose data over midi from another keyboard. Is that correct?

Re: Powering the JP
It does power it, but there is a bad feedback from the Boutique output. Perfect though with a USB power supply.

I want to play the JP from a certain note range on a Triton Combi... have set a midi channel and note range etc but the the Triton seems to ignore the note range and will play the JP across the whole of the keyboar...

Transpose for individual programs
HI.
I can see no way of storing a transpose for individual patches. Is it not possible? The only transpose I can make work is a global transpose.
Thanks

Re: Just purchased G6. Some simple questions...
Thanks for the answers. I'll check out the links and guess I'll have to get used top the idiosyncs! Its always the way when a new keyboard arrives... hours of programming highlight the shortcomings.
I love its immediacy with live setups though.
Thanks again!

Just purchased G6. Some simple questions...
Just purchased a spotless unused G6, mainly to replace my JP-8000 for live use. Struggling a little on some minor points.. without a manual. 1-how do I get it to power up on the last Live/Single patch I used? 2-Similairly, how can I get it to return to the last Single patch I used after going to Liv...

Re: Convert and use DX7 SYX patches?
Yes, buy a DX7, probably the DX7s (or DX7 2 whatever it was called, I think one of them had a disk drive. Dont think the original did.) Use it then sell it after, and probably not lose any money. Thats the hassle free way to get the exact sounds.

Re: Fantom-G output kinda low ?
Just purchased a G6 myself - output seems the same as my Jp8000, Triton and PC3X.
Did you sort it?

Re: JP8000 replacing battery
I'd try factory reset again first.
And the post above, I think your screen is part dead, or maybe needs re-seating on the pcb.

Broken key on an original V Synth
Hi.
If a key breaks on an original V Synth, can it be replaced separately, or does the whole keybaed need replacing. Surely just the individual key…
Also, any idea how much it would cost?
Thanks

Follow Andy T's instructions on page 1 of this thread again. Be sure to follow very closely. It might work this time.
