Re: Monitor Problem with X8

<t>Thanks bassman for your thoughs, I moved the monitors temporarily up to desk height (on milk crates) and this helped a somewhat although has not fully fixed the problem. I suppose I will have to change the room acoustics but its a very small study so not many options. <br/> <br/> How can I adjust...

My problem is that I have a bad resonance at middle C which causes issues with my playing obviously. Is this just the room acoustics, a characteristic of the monitors or...

Re: Detuned Piano

<t>Thanks Art, for your reply. It looks like what I'm after.<br/> <br/> My only question is, I want to use the Ultimate Grand which I believe use all 4 tones for different velocity levels and therfore won't work as you say in that your suggestion assumes the patch is on one tone only. Distant Sound Effect

Does any one know how to adjust the MFX unit to make a patch sound very distant ie as if the microphone has been placed a long way away from the instrument?

Thanks

Detuned Piano

What is the best way to create a detuned piono patch where you can adjust the amount of detuning and add a little reverb?

The manual seems unclear on this.

Thanks

Split Acoustic Piano

Why do they call the piano patch "split"?
What does this mean?

Re: Sequencer Question

<t>Dave<br/> <br/> Thankyou for your reply.<br/> <br/> I was in fact was using the template you have suggested with the keyboard switches off as recomended. Sequencer Question

Does any one know anything about a sequencer called "Koan Pro" (or something like that). I believe its good for atmospheric/ambient music which is what I'm looking for.

Am I the Oldest FX owner

Well I admit, I'm 52 years old and love playng my X8.

Is anyone older than me?

Thanks Steve W...
