Hi,
All splitting/layering etc is possible with 16 parts. Only limitation is plyphony :-)

Re: First Impression
I know all these boards. I think then srx 04 is not needede when you have the FA. For brass one could need the 10 but it still remains brass out of a synth ;-), for other orchestral sounds the 6 would be a good addition. With all sr boards coming for free, i still think the fa is a good competitor o...

Re: First Impression
Yes, for me that's the case. Remember i already own a kronos and nord piano.. How are you using FA with kronos? I own a kronos as we'll. Have been contemplating on how to use FA with it. The FA I use for the studio for quick ideas etc. The kronos and nord are for live play... But i could see a setp...

Re: Using the sequencer
the seq doesn't record mutes, BUT: what you can do better: make a program change/changes form the measure you want to change the ounds, record a volume change if you want etc.. Then all goes automatically.. (this only works per midichannel, on the old Fantom X we had a workaround with Lazeeboy :-) t...

Re: information about sub-out
a downer is that you can't pan the pads, and you can only assign one pad in seq mode. So you have to pan the samples before you import them (in your wave editor/DAW/etc)

information about sub-out
Hi all,
Maybe good to know (i was glad about it..): The sub-out is a stereo sub out. If you pan parts L/R you've got 2 mono outs, besides the stereo out, so you can use 4 outs...

Re: First Impression
when you're useds to the |Kronos touch screen, working with the knobs/cursors is a step back.. But with the kkob assign mode the most typical sound editing parameters are can be apllied quickly. Ofcourse the Kronos goes deeper. Which sound better is a matter of taste i believe. They're both good. If...

Re: First Impression
you're welcome.. In my case the FA replaces the Integra perfect: sure it has less sounds, but the ones i need are there (the 6000 sounds in the Integra are too much for me (i can tweak the sounds in the FA also and create thousands). With the free srx downloads, the fact it has keys and its 512 user...

First Impression
So i got my Fa-06 today. First impression: lots of features for the money. The overall feeling of the board is a bit cheap, plastic. |The keys are small and not the best... But the sounds and workflow is very good so far. Picking sounds and editing them is very easy. The sounds are good (I just sold...
