Re: Bank / Program change via Midi-keyboard
Wow...just wow. I finally decided to become a Roland Cloud member today and downloaded the XV-5080. I haven't used this module in 17 years. I started going through patches feeling the nostalgia. Then I thought..it would be much easier if I can send program changes to the plugin via my keyboard to go...

Re: New Roland Synthesizer Workstation Coming at Namm 2014
If they build on what they had in the Fantom G and add the sequencing/sampling capabilities of the Fantom X and MV series....I would buy it without question...

Re: G7 & Sonar X1 Producer
the metronome box can select metronome on rec, playback, both on none.. right clicking brings up the metronome preferences. Audio metronome is on by default and there is a dropdown box of about 100 different things that can be used as the 1, and other beats... so unless this is a restriction in the...

Re: G7 & Sonar X1 Producer
Last night, I discovered that the Fantom G editor will not work with Cubase 6. So a forum member recommended Sonar X1. I downloaded the demo which I can use for 30 days. It was fairly easy to setup and use with my Fantom G...although it did crash on me initially. The problem I am having now is setti...

Re: MPC AND FANTOM G
So if you want the Fantom as a controller and the MPC as the sequencer, the steps above will solve your problems.597636 wrote:Trying to use the fantom as a keyboard controller so I would not be you the fantom as sequencer

Re: Windows 7 64 bit, Cubase, Fantom G VST editor
So no software update for the Fantom G nor an update for its plugin editor.....
I am not exactly married to Cubase...but it and Nuendo are just simple to use compared to other DAWs I have attempted to use (Pro Tools, Logic, DP).

Re: MPC AND FANTOM G
I believe I can help. I just need some specifics of exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Which workstation is your sequencer? Or are you trying to use both sequencers and have them sync'd via Midi Clock, MTC, etc Since I love the MPCs sequencer, it is the center of my studio. The Fantom G is j...

Mystic thanks for the update. I spent the last 2 hours pulling out the few hairs left on my head..
Is this a Cubase problem or a Fantom editor problem?

Windows 7 64 bit, Cubase, Fantom G VST editor
I just purchased my first PC running Windows 7 64 bit. I am having issues trying to get the Fantom G to open as a plugin with Cubase 6. While Cubase sees the plugin and I can assign it to a track, it will not opem up the Fantom G editor.
