Wow...just wow. I finally decided to become a Roland Cloud member today and downloaded the XV-5080. I haven't used this module in 17 years. I started going through patches feeling the nostalgia. Then I thought..it would be much easier if I can send program changes to the plugin via my keyboard to go...

If they build on what they had in the Fantom G and add the sequencing/sampling capabilities of the Fantom X and MV series....I would buy it without question...

If a new workstation does come out....please don't ignore the sampler this time.

I am on Win 7 64 Bit I can't get the Fantom G VST Editor to work in Maschine.

on my cubase + FG8 setup i just use my G8 in studio mode as a sound module and play using the G8's nice keybed... and use the Cubase as my main sequencer + VST's. then do G8's sounds (midi to audio mixdown) into cubase and then final mixdown with the VST's. i use Steinberg's Ci2+ as my audio interf...

The Fantm G editor works in Sonar X1..as I downloaded a tried the demo.

So if you want the Fantom as a controller and the MPC as the sequencer, the steps above will solve your problems.

I am not exactly married to Cubase...but it and Nuendo are just simple to use compared to other DAWs I have attempted to use (Pro Tools, Logic, DP).

Is this a Cubase problem or a Fantom editor problem?

I can now get the editor to open but then it crashes Cubase.

I just purchased my first PC running Windows 7 64 bit. I am having issues trying to get the Fantom G to open as a plugin with Cubase 6. While Cubase sees the plugin and I can assign it to a track, it will not opem up the Fantom G editor.

Anyone having any success?
