Last was he told me he was going to release an update to the drawbars expansion. He can probably give us a status.

Re: Using SysEx to set Tempo? (Help Quinnx!)
<t>cyclops,<br/> <br/> Yeah, I tried it when I got home. I figured that since favorites stores transpose and octave shifts it might also remember tempo.<br/> <br/> I did notice a problem though. Maybe it's already been brought up. If you save a favorite after transposing it will remember the setting...

Re: Using SysEx to set Tempo? (Help Quinnx!)
I'm not home to check this but try to register the live set with the proper tempo to a favorites location and see if the favorite will remember tempo.

Re: 3 problems - maybe bugs
<t>Karel,<br/> <br/> If you transpose or octave shift while in Single, Live Set or Studio Set modes, the keyboard will stay that way until you switch it back manually. In Favorites the shifts are registered when you save the favorite. For instance, if you have a live set that you have shifted say 2 ...

Sliders in unison
Art,
I tried setting MENU -> System -> Knob/Slider tab, set Slider Assign Select to FIX but that set the sliders to various sound parameters centered a 0 +/-64. It didn't correct the problem with all the drawbars moving together.
I'll wait for your fix.

New Roland Product DVD available!
Did they say if it is free or cost $? Seems strange (maybe not) to set up a website just to entice one to order a product DVD. I think this DVD is for all of the new products and not just the G. I'll have to give them a call at the number and see.

Re: Is the G a save buy?
I agree for sure about the USB stick "sticking out". On the FP7 they got this right. It's located on the front left side just to the left of the lowest key.

E50 E60 Arranger Question
<t>Hi all,<br/> <br/> I'm looking at getting one of these for the portability and built-in sound system. I currently have a Fantom X7 that I use several times a week at church and in a band I'm with. I want the arranger to take to family functions (reunions, holidays, etc.).<br/> <br/> I haven't bee...

Re: Great Hammond Patches!!
Jason,
I haven't had very much time yet to experiment with version 7. I'm remodeling upstairs (including my studio). I'll try and check it out some this weekend.

Re: Great Hammond Patches!!
<t>Jason,<br/> Could you fire that modified SQV to me as well. I know the Hammond doesn't have sustain but I've come accustom to using it. Thanks for implementing the Leslie break and speed control using the two assignable switches. That works much better for me since I change those with the left ha...

"I 'm still surprised by how bad they sometimes are treated by people they don't even know. They are yelled at in public (sinners, burn in hell...) but they don't hurt anyone." Yeah, that's too bad. Even the most inaccurate interpretation of what the Bible or Jesus said could not bring on...

Re: Effects wont work in performance
Press the effects button and you will see that you have three MFX paths, a CHORUS path and a REVERB path. You can route the MFX effects in many different configurations and assign which part in the performance uses which effects path. You need to download and check out the Fantom Workbook Series #4 ...
