Re: V-synth-like software?

both max/msp and reaktor can give you some of the sounds you can get on the v-synth, but it's really not the same thing. i would say the main difference is the sound quality. you will never get the same sound out of software as you will a dedicated synth like the V. like artemio said, you can get cl...

Re: Artemio - Have you DOES MASSIVE?

funny, i was checking out massive this weekend. i thought i sounded great but my music isn't going that way right now so i most likely wont be getting it. and being a reaktor freak, there are factory patches that do most if not all of what massive can do just as well, so i don't know if it really wo...

Re: Bloody damn, Apple previews OS X Leopard

looks like some cool stuff. the time travel stuff is really nice. the mail and iChat is kind of a sleeper for me, but every OS apple has done has been better and better. not just a switch in the kind of bugs you get.
and the new tower they have going........damn!

Re: intrest in learning mac core audio?

artemio,
i have been lookinga around for documentaition for coding audio units, but so far i've come up empty. most of the info is showing a programer how to do it, not someone that has no history of programing.
is there anything you know of to that does this?

Re: My $4000 Bookshelf!

it would be hard to copy write this. i make furniture all day and i look in the design mags and see stuff just like i'm making and making stuff just like i see. there is so much of it and so many people making so much money, that just a slight difference in a design can be cleared as ok. but that be...

Re: Artemio strikes back!

i've just started to find things on the web for a person starting to learn this stuff. it seems (and only seems) that you have to go at learning core audio from the angle of learning xcode, and from there learning cocoa. i'm starting from square one, so getting xcode to say "hello world" i...
