Hmm yes you gave me some Ideas there..I'm using Brainspawn Forte as a VST host so I guess I could program the volume fader to respond to any controller/channel I want.
Thank you very much :-)

Re: Can the oscillators share the envelopes for AMP and Filt
- I find the Lifeset Editing Mode confusing, most of the values are doubled (Cutoff, ..), some are only available in Lifeset (Envelope Loop, ...), some in Pro Edit (HPF Cutoff, ..), the parameters seem a little "all over the place". - the complete Lifeset Modify section is superficial imo...

Re: Controlling volume of external parts
Hi and thanks for the replies! Yes I'm aware of that you can set the external midi initial volume for each channel in external mode. I guess what I'm looking for is a way to assign one of the knobs, or an expression pedal to control this volume in realtime Using an extra midi controller is always a ...

Re: 256 voice polyphony?? not as far as i can tell!
In my opinion doctorrock's test is an absolutely valid approach of testing polyphony/voicestealing.
I'd be surprised if this is a faulty unit/OS issue - would be very helpful if someone who's not experiencing this issue did the same tests and posted an audio file of the result.

Re: Can the oscillators share the envelopes for AMP and Filt
No it's not set to a relative value, if you change a parameter to +11, it's set to +11 for all partials.

Re: Can the oscillators share the envelopes for AMP and Filt
They will all be set to the same value. Envelope offset values can be adjusted at the liveset level.

Re: Can the oscillators share the envelopes for AMP and Filt
Hi
I don't think it's possible to share envelopes across partials. However, If you shift-select all partials, and modify the envelope it will apply to all of them.

Controlling volume of external parts
Hi I would like to control som VSTi's from the Jupiter, but need to control the volume of these in real-time This is what i've tried: - Using external mode lets me set the initial volume, but can't find a way to assign a knob/controller to an external part. -Using internal mode lets me assign volume...

Re: 256 voice polyphony?? not as far as i can tell!
The JP parameter guide states that the voice reserve parameter for the liveset layer only comes into play when over 128 voices are played simultaneously . Can't really understand how this makes sense, if it's a fixed 4*64 voice architecture?

Re: 256 voice polyphony?? not as far as i can tell!
I won 't exactly say it's failing its specifications - if you max out all parts you will probably have 256 voices of polyphony, but I think it's an odd architecture on a performance oriented keyboard like this. Wasn't aware of this limitation until I came across this thread.

Re: 256 voice polyphony?? not as far as i can tell!
I've also noticed sluggish performance/lack of polyphony on some of the livesets/registrations(os v1.02) I suspect there's a fixed polyphony limit of 64 per liveset. This is also reflected in the voice reserve parameter for each liveset which can never exceed 64. Seems to be no dynamic voice allocat...
