Happened to me too. I keep backups on my computer and also purchased the memory card for it.

Re: Still using Juno-G?
I have invested a lot of time learning it, and now I can use it and design / modify patches very fluently.

The same for me. Over several years I've become pretty good at programming it.

Re: JUNO G SVQ FILE
Hi,
that is not possible. In theory someone could write software that translates between JUNO format and Fantom format, but AFAIK no one has done that.
https://github.com/cmatsuoka/fsex is software that works with the Fantom X, but not the Fantom G.

Re: How to have more than 256 card patches
two questions, are you using the library software on your p.c to do this, and all my patches like xv collection sine vibes etc are not svd files they are jgl so im confused how you say you renamed the fans svd files to junog.svd. The way I understand it is the following. I may be mistaken. The junog....

Re: Juno G drivers to windows 10
Hi,
there are absolutely no JUNO-G drivers for Windows 8.1 and 10, and quite possibly Roland will never release one.
See this thread for a workaround. It is quite involved and difficult.

Re: A replacement for Juno G
Looking at Roland's product lineup, the direct replacement for JUNO-G is currently the FA-06. Advantages compared to JUNO-G: - newer soundset and technology: SuperNatural piano, EP, tonewheel organ, strings, synth - contains the XV soundset, which overlaps largely with the JUNO soundset - 2 virtual ...

Re: Windows 8.1 USB driver installation problem
Here are the instructions on INF file modding. I needed that to make it work. http://www.getdriver.com/how-to/2410/make-windows-7-drivers-work-windows-8-8-1-inf-modding.html So the complete solution is: 1. Modify the INF files so that - [Roland.NTamd64.6.3] in the (64-bit folder) and [Roland.NTx86.6...

I'm interested. Why do you want to microtune the JUNO-G? What kind of music do you play on it that needs that?

Re: Patch Volume
You can alter the global level of a patch. Go into advanced patch edit mode. On one of the uppermost pages of parameters you will find the global patch level.
This is not stored in the Live Setting but in the patch itself.

Re: Control MMC junoG from another keybord
The JUNO-G can only communicate via MIDI cable if you set the USB mode to STORAGE. Press the USB button and change the mode to STORAGE. Otherwise the MIDI ports on the JUNO do not work.kernell32 wrote:I use classic midi cable.
