Re: Organizing Registrations
Hi mojkarma, Hmm, as I get to know more and more about how the Jupiter 80 works I realise it isn't possible to assign registrations to the registration buttons. It seems my idea about organising the registrations has now been rendered moot :-( The Jupiter is a lot different from the Fantom G. The Fa...

Re: Organizing Registrations
Hi Mojkarma, thanks for your reply. I also have the Fantom G (FG8), but I'm tired of schlepping it around; it also contricts me in me choice of cars, so a smaller keyboard is an option. An FG7 would be a viable choice as well. It's about the sam size as the JP80. That aside, I'm exploring the possib...

Organizing Registrations
Hi fellow Jupiter 80 enthusiasts/owners/critics, I'm thinking about purchasing a Jupiter 80. I've yet to try it out. My local music store doesn't have one I can demo yet. I'd like to be able to play it in a live situation (band) as my sole keyboard. I read in the manual there are 8 Registration Sets...

Re: Loading songs quickly
Too bad there are only 50 songs to a project. Just over 3 Banks' worth. Roland should up this to something to the power of two that's more than 256 and less than 1024; I know: 512!! Also up the RPS Sets to a project to this number while you're at it! Pretty please.

Re: A Better Mousetrap? (and Touchpad options for the 'G')
the Hands-free one could work as well
Use your mouse while playing the keyboard with both hands. Just attach it to your mic stand!

Re: Why we need ORGAN modeling ARX (and not VK-8M or similar
Yes an ARX organ board would indeed be very cool. Even though I have a VK-8M and have my 2 ARX slots filled I would buy such a board in an instant because it would be so much cleaner on stage to have only the G8. So Amen to that!

Re: Song Size in bytes (.SVQ)
@Derek: Share you ideas please; I'm interested. If I make progress I'll surely let you know but it's looking a bit bleak at the moment.
Also, if someone has the .SVQ implementation of the MRC-Pro please don't hesitate to post it or send it to me. I'd very much appreciate it.

Re: Can't get Studio Sets to play
<t>Your Studio set is probably being edited when you press play, because there's program changes in your song. Does the name of your Studio Set get an asterix (*) next to it after you press play? A clear sign of the aforementioned editing done by the song itself. <br/> <br/> Open up your Microeditor...

Re: Text in Favourites
Reading in a bible works but scrolling down to the bottom takes about 2000 years. Perhaps an abridged version will be faster
I'll try a file of about 100K later. I mean how much lyrics do you need?

Re: Phrase list management
Updating the phrase-references in songs is not yet functional. I need to do some serious hacking first and I'm afraid it's not gonna be as easy as my efforts have been so far as an .SVQ is very much dynamic.

Re: Deleting MIDI phrases in bulk
See it as a rough diamond.
Granted, it has it's fair share of shortcomings but some/most of them can be worked around and several haven been addressed in 1.30; perhaps better file management will be a fact in a future version. Until then use my workaround.
