I was reading some reviews over at Harmony Central, and it appears that it's not possible to resample sequnced patterns in the 606. Is this true? And, in case it is, is this the situation with the 404 as well? It won't be a deal breaker for me, but I find it a bit strange if this isn't possible, as ...

How difficult is it to hook up a Roland V-Drum set to the Fantom X8 in order to record drum tracks?
Also is it possible to achieve this without buying the module? Can I hook everything up directly to the Fantom and sort it out that way?
