Polyphony In Midi

Hi Everybody,

If I am using the Fantom S to control VSTs in Cubase via midi, will the polyphonic output of Cubase be 64voices like the Fantom S...or is it related to the VSTs specific polyphony? Thanks.

Re: Friday Night is DOES BEERS Night!!

In New York City we does beers the best Monday through Thursday. On the weekend the bars are too over-crowded with tourists and visitors from nearby states. So during the week after work is the best time to Does Beers in the Big Apple.

Re: Dansgold, that is really enough

<t>I'm sorry I'm coming into this conversation so late. I used to visit Fantomized every day - a thousand times a day. Now I barely visit at all precisely because of a confrontation I had with Dansgold a few months ago. Since then I've been angry that everyone has allowed him and a few others to beh...

Re: Midi Questions

<t>I wasn't looking for colorful pictures. Just a supportive word that I could start on this midi journey with the gear that I already had. Then I would learn my way through it. You're the infant because of the way you communicate to others and treat all of us like children. Now post a pic bitch... ...

Re: Midi Questions

<t>Dansgold,<br/> <br/> There was nothing wrong with my question. Obviously I did enough research to know that I needed a midi interface and that it might be possible to monitor from the Fantom. Do I have to research all the basics in order to ask a basic question? If I knew what info to provide eve...

Midi Questions

<t>I would like to start using soft synths such as Atmosphere, Reaktor etc. If I already own a M Audio Uno (1-In/1-Out In-Line Cable USB Midi Interface) will I be able to trigger the software from my Fantom? Also, can I monitor off the Fantom instead of the computer? I have a Fantom S88 and a Dell C...

Don't Take Their Advice

<t>All this bolognie about mixing and mastering things yourself is rediculous. This whole "Home Recording for Dummies" things is terrible advice. Don't listen to it for a single second. If you want your final master to stand out...then have it professionally mixed and mastered. I've worked as a mast...

Re: Too Many Sounds in the Fantom X!

I stay in Piano Mode when I am practicing. It allows me to switch only between piano sounds without getting distracting. Otherwise I can go off on tangents for hours.

Re: Dealing with hand injuries, etc.

<t>I went to a physical therapist years ago with the same problems. I was practicing a ton and my hands (especially my right hand) opposite the palm was killing me. The physical therapist used a device that magnetically messaged the muscles inside my hand. My hands did feel better. However, the best...
