Re: how to remove vocal
Or buy Karakoke versions of the song, where someone already removed the vocals for you.

Re: Best practices for realistic drumming sequences
<t>@tedW, <br/> <br/> I think what's you're looking for is a couple of simple rules: <br/> <br/> You only have two hands and two feet. You cannot play a crash, a snare, and a tom all at the same time, because all 3 require a hit with a stick that you're holding. <br/> <br/> So I think a good startin...

Re: G6 + 88 key weighted controller?
That's the answer I'm looking for. I just wanted to make sure that if I did this, I wasn't missing any features.

Re: Cleaning the keys on my XP-50, please help!
Dear God, don't use WD40.
First I'd get some compressed air and blow out the unit. If that doesn't work, get some *Electronic Cleaner* spray. This stuff evaporates almost instantly and is designed for electronics.

Re: G6 + 88 key weighted controller?
<t>I think you guys need to consider the environment and usage. I'm not a professional musician and I don't work in a professional studio... heck, I don't work in a studio at all, I'm a software developer! <br/> <br/> I like all the features of the Gx series, with the integrated sequencer, and crap ...

Re: G6 + 88 key weighted controller?
Not sure what you're saying piaknowguy. Guitar Center had a brand new one for $400, so I'm taking an educated guess that I could get a used one for $300.

Re: G6 + 88 key weighted controller?
<t>Are there any limitations that I'm not thinking of? The only thing I can think of it having to lug around 2 keyboards, but I almost never do anything live (MAYBE once or twice a year at the most). <br/> <br/> The g6 is going for $1500-$1600 on ebay right now. Looks like you can get a controller f...

G6 + 88 key weighted controller?
<t>I'm dusting off the musical instruments and I've been out of the synth loop for a LONG time. My most recent keyboard is an Ensoniq EPS.. yes, from about 1990. I'm a home hobbiest, but occasionally play live for things such as weddings (far and few between). <br/> <br/> So in the last couple of we...
