vp9000 and vsynth sample optimization
Hi. I have finally managed to spend some quality time [= making my own samples] on my vp9000, but I have hit a snag. Premise: I use the vp9000 for playing "scat" from vocal samples (mostly female, sometimes ethnic, always in solo mode, always robot switch, always playing legato). The vp900...

Re: In depth Jupiter-50 video review
You're assuming... and you are wasting your time trying to make him listen to himself, scott... The guy just drools for a beam controller or a touch screen but "knows" that aftertouch is useless . Next, he will say that " velocity is overrated ": after all, "he never really...

Re: It arrives this morning...!!!
yesterday I received my new moog. little feisty box. There's something soothing and comforting in looking at Kronos-haters and Jupiter-snubbers throwing poo at each other while I sit sipping hot coffee and I think tonoght I'll jamm on a new toy whose qualities speak for themselves, with no need for ...

Re: What Can I do to Make the Organ Sound like an Organ?
Luftwaffe shot down the Red Baron Hu. German Ace shot down by German AF? Nice paraphrase of "shooting oneself in the foot". ;-( In my 30-year long experince in the Army, "SOOF" (shooting one's own foot) is a necessary consequence of the "RFA" approach: "Ready"...

The Jp80 is a excellent at synth sounds (expecially poly, lush, synth sounds), but people devoted to specific emulation...
