Re: NEW FANTOM-G - THREAD #2
<t>The Audacity Works said to me:<br/> <br/> Tom T said: "I wouldn't make assumptions. It can be misleading. Let me say this; my opinion is based upon a hands on experience as well as the information from others who have had hands on experience with the Fantom G. Its true during NAMM that a very peo...

Re: No more new workstations THE END
<t>Sam,<br/> <br/> People aren't going to agree with you on a Roland Fantom Forum. What you said has validity as more and more people are going away from the same old rompler thing. Don't think the big three haven't noticed. That's why your getting more computer like integration with the newer works...

Re: Hmm... looks like NAMM stuff is thin this year...
<t>I was there and thought the same thing. After last years NAMM with the buzz about stuff and the new keyboards which were released this year was really ho hum. There are some companies not even here this year for the first time in a long time. The guys I've spoken to seem to feel that way as well....

Suggestion not what you want to hear but;
Return Cubase and Get Sonar. Better support which you will need in the long run

Re: NEW FANTOM-G, PLEASE TALK HERE
Those of you who have played or heard the Fantom G, do you think this board will cover all styles of music? No not by a long shot. Rather than share and create a huge debate like the whole audio side of the Fantom G, I would suggest you wait and listen for yourself when it comes out. Sounds are sub...

Re: ENIGMA Sadness prt1 Solo Sound?
Ben,
Michael Cretu is enigma. He has used almost all Korg Keyboards in his recordings, especially the earlier recordings. There are Korg sounds, some of them stock sounds, that are dead on for the sounds your looking for.

Re: Fantom G.., will be a HIT!
<t>Took some time and spoke with some of the guys at Keyboard magazine today. Apparently more people had a chance to interact with the new Fantom G. While I agree sounds are subjective and Roland has said that its not done with the sounds, everyone I've spoke with directly (granted all five of them)...

Re: Fantom X or Motif XS
<t>I have owned a Motif XS for about 3 weeks now. I've got a number of friends that come over to play it. When they come over, we usually jam together. We switch off, one plays the Motif XS and the other plays the Fantom XR. There's six of us total that jam although never at once. I prefer the sound...

Re: Why the Fantom has low notes in "sounds" in the Harmony
<t>I have to agree that the Juno G is nowhere near the same keyboard the Fantom X is many areas. I think it was very, very misleading of the salesman to say they are the same. <br/> <br/> One of the biggest differences for me was the difference in rom/ram mentioned above in another post. The Fanton ...

problem with fantom X?
<t>I just received a fantom X I purchased used. I plug it and go through about 15 presets quickly to test it. I'm playing the user presets. Epic strings User #002 and TB and TP sect user #008 both don't play any sound at all when selected. I play the keys to trigger the sound and nothing. I assume t...

Re: Keyboard Mag Review!!
<t>Man I can't believe the crap I heard. Sadly I went into Guitar center today and spoke to the keyboard dept. head who told me this was a a big topic a few months back and that there was potentially some truth to this. <br/> <br/> Many keyboard magazine readers voiced opposition to the V synth bein...

Re: Don't feel bad . . .
<t>I went over to motifator.com and saw the same negative things a few weeks back. The news I heard from Summer Namm was that the Motif ES sounded incredible. Very few people got to play it for more than a few minutes. I spoke to two people who were at Namm and they said the ES sounded very good to ...
