Can't hear Cubase in XP Remote Desktop Session
I can't get audio from Cubase when I'm in a remote desktop session. I can open a wave file and get audio, and I get audio from clicking on stuff and things like that, but I get nothing from Cubase (on my laptop speakers when controlling the desktop from my laptop). My sound card is an M-Audio Delta ...

How to sample/remix in Fantom XR?
So, I haven't used the sampler on my Fantom XR yet. I've been using it only as a sound module. I thought I might like to give its sampler a try... Anyway, I downloaded a vocal accapella off the internet, and I'd like to chop it up and make an instrumental for it. Can anyone point me in the right dir...

Re: microphone effects
I have a simle, yet related question. When I have a mic connected to a mixer, and one of the mixer busses is routed to the inputs of the fantom, which input type should I select on the Fantom? Do I want "Mic" or "Line" (or whatever it is, I can't remember exactly what it says at ...

Re: Korg Triton Sound Editor: problems
Yeah, my Triton is a Rack. I love it. My beef with it though is that you have to reserve the voices for the MOSS board. For example, when I turn my Triton Rack on, by default, it's set to have all 6 MOSS voices reserved for track 1. I then change it and spread those MOSS voices out over several trac...

Patch Editor/Librarian Software?
So, I'm planning on getting a Patch Editor/Librarian Software. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? The gear I'd use it with is a Korg Triton Rack, Roland Fantom XR, Yamaha Motif Rack ES, Novation X-Station and possibly a Oberheim Matrix 1000. I use Cubase SX3 for sequencing. Is it possibl...

Fantom XR OS Upgrade?
How would I go about upgrading to version 2 of the OS? Version 2 literally came out like a week or 2 after I bought my Fantom, so I'm still using version 1. However, I don't see it for sale on Roland's website anymore. It's there for the keyboards, but I don't see it for the rack. And do I have to g...

Re: Vocal Harmony Expansion Board?
Well I don't have room for another keyboard, so getting an M06 (or ES 6) is out of the question for me

Audio Inputs on Fantom XR?
So, I noticed Yamaha has a pretty cool expansion board for the Motif that does vocal harmony. Check it out- Link. I know that Roland doesn't have any expansion boards like this, but I was wondering if the Fantom XR might have something like this built into it without an expansion board? Or is there ...

Vocal Harmony Expansion Board?
Does anyone know if Roland has any plans to ever offer a Vocal Harmony expansion board? The Yamaha Vocal harmony PLG100-VH for the Motif ES looks really nice, and I would absolutely loke to get something like that for the Fantom. The Motif ES Rack doesn't have audio inputs, so Roland could have a le...

Cool man, I'll have to play around with it and see if I can figure out how it all works.
