When I have read this review about the Nord Stage, it occuredto me this review was (and still is) sincere and appropriate. I have no Nord Stage at home and sure (!!!!): I shall always keep away from stage my Fantom G8 and my Kronos 88.

I have the same little "clip" sound at the begining when I sample directly my motif xs rack sounds into the s/p dif in. I still think it as a bug in the conception of the Roland hardware. So I correct this within soundforge or by correcting the very start of the sample in the edit function...

While doing some online research on the Jupiter 80,I came across this post and I could not believe what I was reading. How on earth does the Fantom G blow away the Kronos in the sequencer area?128 total tracks is a false & flashy marketing trick,because most PC's cannot even use this many track...

Why poor ? You can build, create your own Arp with the G. There is no limit. Why use only the presets which are as any preset in any synth just limited themselves.

Finally ! The Fantom is going to become a real ghost... Roland you're damned !!!!

I suppose it is the same midi channel chosen in the SYSTEM SETUP MENU / MIDI here you can choose the Global midi channel.

Just use 1 midi cable : vs2480 midi out & g8 midi in. And use vs2480 as master.

I have a XS Rack contrrolled midi controlled by my G8 and linked on the digital INPUT of the G8. That is to say that mostly I record the XS in AUDIO because in doing that I always have all the real effects of each VOICE or of each MULTI of the XS : GREAT ! And

the G8 and XS are really friends !
