Yes "right"...I get it...the Cubase manual references it could be a sync issue...correct or incorrect, your response doesn't help me...

I forgot to mention that the program I referenced can only remove the vocals from uncompressed stereo files from a CD...it requires that the track was produced with the artist off-center at 44.1Khz 16 bit stereo...

select your source file...CD...WAV...whatever...

Then go to DSP Effects and select Karaoke...it works about 1/2 of the time without any reduction in quality.
