Re: Layering cutoff & resonance onto a recorded Midi track

Wow...thanks for sharing the video, Nickle! I just learned how to do automation in Logic, and I was racking my brain trying to figure it out on the FG. Good stuff..........don't feel bad, I've been a beginner for the past 6 months!

Re: My experiment using the Fantom G

I was impressed when you were just playing everything....then you started singing! Holy S---......no one should have that much talent. It just makes me look like an amateur. This was awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Re: Fantom as midi controller and sound module simultaneousl

<r>I'm trying to use my FG as a sound module/controller with Logic and Reason. I've read the tutorial on rolandus.com, but I'm still not having any luck. Could someone let me know how to access the MIDI channels on Reason and Logic? I'm totally new to this software. My e-mail is <EMAIL email="jrmann...

Re: Autotune

Wow...that looks pretty cool! Can this be used in recording, or is it primarily for live performances? I'm a songwriter, but I can't sing. Something like this might help.

iPhone and iPod Touch?

I'm a new Apple convert, and I was wondering if there's any sense in owning both an iPhone and an iPod Touch. Isn't the iPod Touch basically an iPhone without the phone? The trouble with my iPhone is that it's only 8 GB. I'd love to get a 64 GB iPod Touch to hold all my music.

Re: ARX 1 drums problem

<t>When you use the ARX01 kits in studio mode, you're using another sound generator--not the internal one that came with the FG. As such, when you work in Studio Mode, you are given 16 additional parts that you can program ARX drums in, if I'm not mistaken. So, if you wanted to mix some of the FG's ...

Re: Macbook Pro - ART!!!!!!!

Just got my 21.5" iMac, 8 GB RAM, 2 TB hard drive, and I think I'm leaving my wife ;-) No, but seriously, I am in love. Did I read something about a free gift? I like free stuff!

Re: support needs

<t>Now that I understand the Project concept, it seems easy enough. I will say this though: I've read the manual and watched 2 instructional DVDs, and I didn't learn about the whole concept of a project and the necessity of saving it to USB until I joined the Roland Clan. So, thanks, guys....I'm hap...

Re: support needs

<t>Speaking for myself, I think that the confusion has come from a misunderstanding about what a Project actually is. My intuition tells me that a Project is an individual song, and I just blindly followed my intuition before really taking the time to learn the lingo. Knowing just what a project is,...

Re: Sounds won't play after installing 1.50

I got all of my sounds back. I just had to reformat the USB drive. Luckily, all I had on the USB drive were the Sinevibes sounds. I still can't figure out why I was missing sounds (only some Sinevibes sounds in the USER bank, which stinks because I really love the entire Sinevibes library).
