I've got a Logitech trackball mouse and I plug in that sucker whilst the G6 is on and it is picked up straight away!

johnc, going to bow out of this debate as I don't have access to the kit you talk about...but to me the Fantom X piano patches are just fine (for me). LOL

Thanks guys...in the end I opted for a Fantom G6! I'm just such a sellout for brands LOL!!!

As for the SRX, well so far Ultimate Keys and the Brass one are in the running...but I'm not in too much of a rush.

I've only seen two ways that this song has been done live and that's with the drummer playing to the sequence via headphones or just without anything at all i.e. going for broke! I'm sure it takes the old unbuffered type known as DIMM. Think that stuff was mainly produced in 512 max with the odd 1gig stick here and there. i believe it's the same story with the Fantom G too.

did you buy it from a store? If so then I'd take the DIMM to the shop and ask for it to be fitted to the demo G6 to see if the issue re appears. If not then you have a faulty G6 and the store should issue you with a replacement!
