Yes. Just re-sample the trumpet part first. You do not have to delete the original MIDI track, just mute it or remove the phrase from the sequence. WHy dont you open the drums phrase with PHRASE EDIT then invoke MICROSCOPE.

You can then adjust each individual notes loudness (VELOCITY). Just find the measures in question and make the Velocity changes manually using the rotary wheel.
