Re: Anyone have any demos they made using the arx03 brass bo
Mike (and others) Its also very worthwhile to check out Ed Diaz's youtube video on how to create 3-octave brass sections. While he shows how to do it in Live mode.... its just as easy in Studio mode... by using 3 tracks in the sequencer, assigning the patches he mentions, and then cloning the phrase...

Re: Anyone have any demos they made using the arx03 brass bo
That's strange. I can get to preview both albums ok. Try this link. Should have a preview/play button appear immediately to the left of the song title. https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/awakening/id458088322 Cheers Ted PS. If that doesn't work, I'm happy to send you an MP3 of the one that has the mu...

My second and third album (not yet released) have used both the Brass and Drums expansions boards.
Here's a link to the second album, you can preview on iTunes.

Re: The Fantom G and people moaning about it
Well Im really happy with my FG. I love it. Sure some things are a bit awkward, but i think I only know maybe 20% of this box, and I have now released two albums on iTunes made solely on the FG ... from start to end. And the sounds this box has inside are amazing, if you know where to find them and ...

Re: How to make a fade out with the Fantom G8
Fading the song is achieved after you have RESAMPLED the song... it then becomes a sample (ie. via SAMPLE... RESAMPLE... then play your song using the transport keys). Edit the Sample, then used MODIFY... then AMP. Set Point 3 to the start of the fade (@100% strength) and then set Point 4 (you only ...

Re: Best practices for realistic drumming sequences
I thought I would add to my original thread... in case it helps other members. Background: I use Studio mode to record songs like everyone else does. I tend to build them up one by one and repeat them to create various verses, choruses, bridges and such like. My preference thus far has been to separ...

Re: Question about "Parts" in Studio Mode
[quote="BrianJ"]Ok...so, it really comes down to whatever is in the studio set? If the phrase is playing "part 4", then it plays "part 4" all the time (unless you change it as described before). Now, "part 4" is determined by the studio set... is this correct?...

Re: Recording mult. tracks with ARX
I have the ARX03 - and yes, 1 part - thats it. To address that... you can resample just the brass part (thereby creating a SAMPLE) - andthen include that sample into one of the audio tracks. Then "mute" the mid part. Then reset ARX03 to play for another intended brass part - and repeat the...

Re: Arx-02 or arx-03
Yes. Just re-sample the trumpet part first. You do not have to delete the original MIDI track, just mute it or remove the phrase from the sequence. It will remain in your phrase list and you can continue to make any changes you wish later. =) Yes - this isnt a problem to do... you just need to know...

Re: Arx-02 or arx-03
Yep - I agree with mpatiga. I bought by ARX03 around a month ago... and have played with it heaps, replacing the "factory" brass patches I have in my songs with the ARX03 patches. A few comments to be aware of: 1) you can only use the ARX03 for 1 part at a time. That means if your pre-ARX ...

Re: FX in songs
Hey Glenn Each part can be queued to unique PFX, and be mixed into one (or none) of 2 MFXs, as well as chorus and reverb settings. Done using the Routing function. You can use the Chorus to do instead some other effects (such as delay). As far as I know, these settings become attributes of the Studi...

Re: Few measures too loud
WHy dont you open the drums phrase with PHRASE EDIT then invoke MICROSCOPE.
You can then adjust each individual notes loudness (VELOCITY). Just find the measures in question and make the Velocity changes manually using the rotary wheel.
Cheers
