Does the Synth Legends Roland released give you additional waveforms/PCMs? Or is is just tone/live set/ registration data?

Jupiter-8 pricing???
I am looking for a Jupiter-8. I am curious what others thought would be a fair price to pay for a Jupiter-8 that is in excellent condition here in the states?

Re: Turning off PCM sound generator?
Finally! I actually sold my Gaia since I started down-sizing my rig and chucked my Computer and DAW. Now I have to chain the midi together with a thru box and using thrus on the synths. Good to see Roland now put the option on the Gaia to turn of the GM sound set. I am not sure if I would buy a Gaia...

Re: MIDI Sequencer?
Hi Artemiy,
I have looked at Genome. I also saw Music studio which has 127 tracks. I wonder which is better.

MIDI Sequencer?
I am hoping to find a decent MIDI sequencer (pattern vs. stepped) for the iPod or iPad. any suggestions?
I do not need soft synth, I want to connect to hardware MIDI gear.
Thanks for your input!

Re: Behavior Modeling Explained -
With Behavior modeling and Supernatural, I wonder how many samples are in a specific SuperNATURAL sound that the behavior modeling technology controls?

Re: Keyboard magazine leak
Roland (or other manufacturers) Bashing is nothing new of course. Several sights have people complaining about this Jupiter 80. Also, I have seen many say that Roland is rehashing, and non innovating. Seems Roland has always used their technology in many different instruments. Well we have: Juno-106...

Re: Turning off PCM sound generator?
The easiest solution when using the Gaia with a computer based DAW is to send a seperate USB cable to it and have it dedicated as its own MIDI interface. Not a big deal. Most of my newer synths are routed this way.

Re: Keyboard magazine leak
I think most people here are not complaining about the Jupiter-80's lack of sequencer or arranger capabilities but rather the lack of a fully tactile interface found on earlier synths like the Jupiter 8 or even the JD-800 which used mainly sliders and other controls to edit with. I must admit that I...

Re: Keyboard magazine leak
Not an April fools thing? Oh well. (Could of made a good one, an April fools joke with the timing and all.) Well, maybe this will be the beginning of a new Jupiter line. The first neo "Juno" (The Juno D) was followed by the Juno Stage, Juno-G, Di and now Gi. I am interested to see what thi...

Is this an April Fool's Joke? A Jupiter with what... four sliders or so?
