Fantom X as a controller

<t>Anyone using the Fantom X as a controller with a software such as Giga etc. I find there are an abundance of samples available in the Vsti, giga, halion and other format. One way to be able to play those samples would be i guess using the Fantom X6/7/8 as a controller? Not sure if it'll work so.....

Re: X8 Sound breaking up

It could be the cables. Try new cables and also experiment with keeping the cables away from each other...just taking guesses here.

Re: External Storage

The D'uh wasn't meant for you...it was because i obviously did not clarify that i was referring to sequencing. mucsusn, i've learned a lot by reading threads/answers from guys like you and artemio. I'm still learning....

D'uh

He said "when i go to record vocals"
I actually wasn't referring to sampling. He was asking about recording and my response was aimed at the 16-track sequencer

Re: External Storage

<t>mucsusn, given the 544MB limitation i'm assuming that 52minutes is for a single track. So using the max of 16 tracks, it comes up to the average length of a song 3-4minutes...which you have to admit is still pretty darn good.<br/> <br/> If you want to get a whole album on there, a 2GB or even 4gb...
