Re: Click Tracks & Changing Patches
Yes, it's possible, unfortunately I'm at work right now and forget the exact procedure, but you can edit the track info in the sequence (insert an event) and put program change info in, in each track seperately if needed.

Re: realtime control knob issues
I have the exact same issue with both my current X6 and the Fantom-S I used to own. A solder touch, and no more problem. And yes, be careful of how any case 'grabs hold' of the top of the keyboard - I had to rearrange the foam in my SKB case too!

Sequence to Sample question
<t>I have a short sequence I need to use in the middle of a song, but it would be much more convenient to trigger it as a sample - what's my best procedure to 'sample' the sequence I've created? <br/> <br/> (I'll be playing bass and need to start the sample by stepping on a pedal on some midi pedals...

Re: Seems like a silly stupid easy thing....
Yep, that was it, and I knew that! I think what I did after editing was hit LOAD/SAVE, and then when I saved it I was suprised cuz the naming screen never came up - duh!
Thanks!

Seems like a silly stupid easy thing....
...but after I've sampled a sound/phrase and go to The Sample List, how do I name/rename that sample? I'm not finding it in the manual or the Workshop sampling guide.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: "Slave" parts in User performances (X7)
<t>I had a similar issue lately - make sure that each part is assigned to its own midi channel, not all switched to the same one (for the active parts). <br/> When I had multiple parts on the same midichannel, I could no longer individally adjust the volumes. Seperating them took care of that. Asd l...

Re: Volume issues in Performance mode

Never mind - "Output Effect" screen - got it!

Volume issues in Performance mode
<t>I haven't figured this one out yet - <br/> <br/> I set parts for a performance, layers, key ranges. Then after I have everything selected and set up, I try to balance the volumes betwwen the parts. Sometimes I can change any of them, other times they won't move from where they are, either on the ...

Re: I THOUGHT I had it, but......
<t>Thanks, guys! I really appreciate these responses. I set the midi channels back to one-per-part (for the parts I want to play from the keyboard) and left the ones to be played from the midi-pedals set to chnl 2. Then I guess I have to just make sure that the keyboard switch is on for those parts ...

Re: I THOUGHT I had it, but......
<t>OK, I've been doing some reading on here, and it looks like the Fantom X series will not apply the key-range settings for an external source? That really sucks - stupid thing to get rid of - always used to work in the past with previous synths, and there's no reason to take that option out - if y...

I THOUGHT I had it, but......
<t>.... after about 15 min of programming, I cannot get my midi pedals to work correctly with a performance on my Fantom X6. In fact, even playing from the keyboard itself, it won't work - and I thought I had this one figured out. <br/> <br/> I'm trying to set up different chords triggered by keys o...

Thanks, that's what I thought, but the manual wasn't very clear on how it's set up.

Question about backing up to card on Fantom X6
<t>I have a question on backing up to the card - <br/> <br/> If I did a backup to card, and then after changing some performance and patch info, do another backup, does this overwrite/replace the previous backup, or create a new one? (I guess what I mean is, is there only one 'backup location' on a ...
