Re: V-Piano video by John Maul (Roland UK)

The silver strings get plugged a lot, I wonder if that is the only string type other than copper?
The built in sequencer isn't mentioned either?

Still all said some pretty neat features, I would just love to feel what the keyboard feel like to play.

Re: Roland introduces V-Piano

<r>I really like the way in which it appears you could make it sound like any (?) piano. I have played many European upright acoustic pianos (mostly lower end and not very well) but they all had distinct personalities and actions. It would be really great if this could be tweaked to match their beha...

Re: roland vc2 card is back

Perhaps the VC2 is going to be updated and released on the 18th and a VC 3? Or a combined VC1 & 2 card.

My VC2 is still in the box unused :-(

Re: What should the VC-3 be?

<t>It would be tempting to place a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) on the card for some extra "bells and whistles", but the system architecture might not be able to utilize such a feature.<br/> <br/> The other real plus would be to license a SDK, if open source won’t fly.<br/> <br/> It would sure be ...

Re: Where is that sound coming from?

<r>Hi Mandragora, on the 1.5 version Dusted Loop is just the same, switch off OSC 1 and OSC 2 and it keeps on playing some of the sounds and is at first confusing, but just a matter of Zones as Artemio has indicated. A you dial into each zone then that patch becomes accessible.<br/> <br/> Have Fun <...

Re: XT Factory reset

The VC1 and 2 are intergrated into the design of the XT are are not lost when reset. What is lost are any changes you make to the patches. So just back up the data you want to keep.

What better way to boost demand than to make it unavailble or in short supply?

But it is still on sale on other sites so mabe they have a larger inventory?
