Guys, thanks so much for the help. I managed to get it back to normal by simply 'upgrading' for a second time. Just seemed to hang after the first time. Guess I must have missed something in my haste to get the new content on the G!!
Thanks again!!

Please help?! My G is stuck on start-up screen!
<t>Hi, I successfully updated the G to 1.50 but now when I turn the machine on, regardless whether there is a USB stick in it or not, it immediately shows a blue screen with the S/W updater just flashing repeatedly and never loading, what's happened? <br/> <br/> Hope someone can help... <br/> <br/> ...

Synth shops in the UK
Hi guys,
What stores in the UK (preferably South) are good for going and trying out a load of different synths before buying?
Thanks
Gary

Am I using the Fantom G to its full potential live?
<t>Hi guys, <br/> <br/> I've had my G for about 6 months now and it's fantastic overall. I got it mainly because I wanted to consolidate down to 1 keyboard for live use, using the live sets for different songs in my favourites banks. On the whole it works brilliantly, with all the different settings...

Re: First speaker upgrade ideas
<t>Hey DBijoux, really appreciate your suggestions. <br/> <br/> I am willing to spend more to get a good set. Is there a minimum size speaker cone you'd recommend? as I don't want to be lacking in the bass. Doesn't have to be world class but just a good solid overall sound for an amateur studio set-...

First speaker upgrade ideas
<t>Hi, <br/> <br/> I have been using creative 2.1 speakers for a few years now and would really like to upgrade to some decent budget studio monitors. Could anyone recommend some for roughly £100? <br/> <br/> I have never used monitor speakers before but am hoping for a fuller, clearer sound. Is it ...

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
<t>I have since discovered that it only happens on my custome project. I reverted back to the original, internal project, and using the same patches, patterns, the problem was not there! <br/> <br/> Can't think what has happened, although 1 thing i have just noticed is that on my custom project (on ...

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
I looked into several patterns, none of them have controller data.

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
I just set slider 1 to 'OFF' and made a slider 2 'cutoff'. Still 100% cutoff is applied regardless of which slider, so it's not slider 1 but some weird bug that keeps applying 100% cutoff when a rhythm phrase is played. Also this only happens on 'RPS' patterns nothing else.

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
I tested on a mixture of phrases, some 'demo' patterns and also some of my own, which definitely have no controller changes.
I believe it must be a hardware issue. Do you think I should contact Roland UK or the retailer I purchased it from?
Many Thanks - Gary

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
<r>I have tested, and it does the same thing with every rhythm phrase and every patch. As soon as you start playing the keys whilst the pad is playing, or as soon as you engage a rhythm pattern whilst already playing the keys, controller 1 shoots up. and twitches randomly. <br/> <br/> It is not humi...

Re: Fantom G with modulation problem and others...
<t>Thanks, for the responses guys. <br/> <br/> Firstly, yes, doing the 'shift' + 'single' thing works in resetting the controllers, which is a good but temporary fix. I have attached a video to show exactly what happens. ps. I was incorrect about modulation, it's actually the 1st controller, cut-off...
