Hi I am trying to have my JD-XI play in sync using an external sequencer. Having set it to 'Slave' It responds fine to "Stop / start" but it also plays other midi data (notes etc). I can do this ok on my Roland TR-8 by switching 'OMNI' to 'off' - is there a way to do the same on the JD-XI ...

Problem solved - but in reverse. Now have Kronos working as Master and Roland as Slave - not ideal as I much prefer the sequencer on the G8. Still, beggars can't be choosers ...

Hi I have tried with no joy to sync my Roland G8 to my Korg Kronos 61). Does anyone have experience in syncing a kronos with the fantom G. Ideally I want to simply play a sequence on the fantom which triggers the sequencer or karma module on the kronos and for it all to be in sync. I don't need to c...

Anyone done this yet ? Sounds good - I'm after some numan'esq sounds which the G lacks ....

I'm probably being really thick here - but I can't see any download options to get the PRJ file/ Any pointers ?

It works a treat - no blue screen - no problems - just plenty of sampling heaven and it's soooooooooo cheap

A user guide video would be great for Arps on the G. Struggling with this feature still.

I have the same problem and find these buttons make an annoying racket when playing the keys. I've solved the rattling noise by using blu-tack to keep individal buttons in place - Not the prettiest solution but playing the keyboard is now silent. I have seen another post on this where some guy gets ...

My rattle problem with the play / stop button has been solved by using blu-tack. I wedge it up on the buttons to stop them rattling - works a treat - plus saves opening the beast up. Strange I know - but the rattle was driving me potty

Perfect ! - all seems a lot less scary now ...

Hi Guys - does anyone know if there is a vid showing how to install ram (I'm about to fit a 1gb dimm to my beloved G8)

If not, any tips from those that have done it ? - the thought of opening my G8 is a tad scary

Agree with comment that arps should be inproved - a video tutorial on how to use arps when sequencing would be cool ...
