I use the mouse in many cases just to preserve the buttons.

I figure I can always buy a new mouse, but if the buttons on the keyboard start to go I don't know what it might cost me.

I agree.

I have to press so hard to get aftertouch that I'm afraid I may damage the board.

If they were user-tweaked patches I'd still be curious to know what patch you started from.

On several occasions the Fantom G has "lost" phrases from within a song. I hadn't made any changes at all to the song.

Has anyone else had this issue. It's very frustrating.
