Re: MZB3 Dual Manual Hammond B3 Emulation V1.7
Hi udos. Long time since I have visited these forums. :) It should be possible to reconfigure it to have bass sounds on the lower manual. This performance does not have b3 organ bass (pedals) programmed in it, but you could simply use any bass patch that you like. Parts 8 to 16 of the performance ar...

Re: MZB3 Dual Manual Hammond B3 Emulation V1.7
<t>It should be as simple as copying the contents of the archive (minus the manual pdf...) to a blank card, and then loading the samples. <br/> <br/> After that the performances should sound, and the SVQ also. <br/> <br/> You dont need to "re-assign RPS patterns" to get sound out the SVQ. Re: MZB3 Dual Manual Hammond B3 Emulation V1.7
<r>Hi! <br/> <br/> 1) This is because it uses custom samples, if you put them to your current card it would not know where the samples are. This is a limitation of the Fantoms sample storage. Workaround is to build your sample library into the MZB3 card, but it takes time. <br/> <br/> 2) Have you lo...

I have been using the same trick as Cesarsound, it works really well! I learned it from a tutorial that was on Sound on Sound magazine long time ago...

Re: MZB3 Dual Manual Hammond B3 Emulation V1.7
Hi, The manual of your Oxygen has the instructions how to assign controller numbers, CC#'s, to faders & knobs, and the manual of MZB3 has the numbers you need to set there. Also set the faders to "drawbar mode" so they behave like intended. CC# 12 to 20 control the upper manual and 21 ...

Re: A few questions about samples
How many velocity layers are possible?
For a single patch: 4, one for each tone.
For performance: 16 X 4 = 64, using all parts in the performance (16 patches) and 4 tones in each.

Re: Pedal assigned to rotation of the leslie (hold)
<r>You will have to hold the pedal down with your foot, if it is a normal piano type pedal. There are other type of pedals, called foot switches, that dont need to be hold down. <br/> <br/> There is no setting for just tapping the pedal down, when using a normal sustain pedal. Re: Pedal assigned to rotation of the leslie (hold)
I work with a Xa too. With "removing hold function" I meant removing the pedal sustain, so it wont hold the notes when you speed up the rotary. As far as I know you cant make the pedal work in a latching way. Only way is to get a real mechanical pedal that will hold its contacts when released.

Re: HOW TO SAVE ALL SET ?
I havent ever tested that function, I always use the librarian to backup my user patches. The card backup could be usefull for really backing up your set, but maybe not for swapping different sounds like the librarian is.

Re: HOW TO SAVE ALL SET ?
<t>The reason why you need to duplicate is because you cant use "save as" in the main window. The librarian software can save in two formats: .fxl (Fantom-X librarian file) and .mid (standard midi file). The difference is that only the librarian understands .fxl files, but .mid files can be played f...

Re: MZB3 Dual Manual Hammond B3 Emulation V1.7
Hi wudsiba That demo is outdated soundwise, but here it is http://www.mediafire.com/file/fdz5m2dmxbm/MZB3_Blues.mp3 I will redo the demo once I get a newer audio interface. The original demo was recorded (resampled) inside my Fantom. If anyone has recorded anything with this emulation you are of cou...

<t>You get this warning from my website? The "Exploit.PDF-JS.Gen" is a .pdf based spyware, and my website is not pdf based in any way. Re: MZB3 Dual Manual Hammond B3 Emulation V1.7
Version 1.6: After a little break I have now added some features to my B3 emulation that I would like to share with other users. It now includes a controllable volume pedal assigned to CC4 & CC13. I have also done some tweaking and polishing of the whole package. Version 1.6 can be downloaded fr...
