Re: audio/midi interface

<t>Yes, Art, as you describe. And left/right audio from Fantom to left/right audio UA. UA USB out to USB PC in. Sonar recognizes the UA as a connected midi device but there is no throughput. It also puzzles me as to why I cannot monitor the audio with headsets connected to the UA device. The UA W7 d...

audio/midi interface

<t>I have a Fantom G that I am trying to interconnect with Sonar 8.5, running on a Windows 7 machine. Since Roland's Windows 7 drivers are in limbo, I bought a Cakewalk UA 25 EX interface, having been advised that this would provide a solution. I downloaded and installed the UA W7 drivers, have ever...

Re: windows 7 drivers

Still not working for the "G". I have no update from Roland yet, but, for those interested, M-audio has released its Windows 7 drivers pertaining to SOME of their audio/midi interfaces. I think Cakewalk has also introduced an interface as well.

Re: Windows 7 and Snow Leopard

I appreciate that, Artemiy! Perhaps I should have but is too late. I just bought a new WIndows 7 machine a few weeks ago - floating dead in the water!! BTW, M-audio has released its full line of Windows 7 drivers.

Re: New Project,Navarin,Copyrights,united Clan,.....

<t>READ your license agreement from East West, for example. Usually when you make the purchase you are free to use and publish without owing a royalty PROVIDED that you substaintially "add" to the material. This doesn't necessarily mean that you must alter a patch or a loop. In the case of East West...

Re: Sonar 8.5 Producer Released

dbijoux,

I just bought 8.5 but haven't had a chance to use since I also bought a windows 7 system and am awaiting the drivers (any day now!) Assuming you are using 8.5, what has your experience been, generally that is? ANy particular issues that you would care to share?

Re: Windows 7 - Didn't look before I leaped

<t>Flumster, I tried the link you suggested for downloading Vista64 and it has been moved or removed. I attempted to download from the page and could not as the error message stated "operating system not recognized". I spoke with a Roland rep yesterday in LA and was told that the W7 drivers are bein...

They will not know nor will they possibly care. Put the fragile stickers on it and insure it!

Re: going back home for a month...taking my g6 along...have

It would be best to contact your airline carrier. I think the G6 will be too large as carry on luggage but don't take that as official.
