Having a similar issue myself. When I create a multi sample sometimes it sounds airy, and like you said i didn't modify the sample at all. Starting to think its a bug. Try a factory reset then re-load it.

Instead of sending the chopped sample directly to the keys or pads. Go to sample list, mark set chopped samples you want, hit utility, create rhythm set and it works fine.

mine to a hardware store and had it removed. 40 bucks. now its back so i just live with it.

can you explain in more detail. what changes?

midi from {what} to the 808 ? Are you talking midi sync ?

I read where someone mentioned factory reset being recomended. Will doing this effect any of my version updates or card data ? {X6 2.10} Hopefully it will reset all of the midi (mtc) settings back to factory.?

yeah i installed 2.10 on my x6 but it still didnt fix the problem.
Starting to wonder if a midi setting is causing it.

I did an auto chop and the samples were easily sent via rhythm set to my keys. BUT when i manually take the time to chop the sample right where i want it and hit create to rhythm set it freezes every time HELP!! could my midi cables create this problem or is it the fine chop points??

Im getting a glitch when chopping a sample on my X6. Issue is, when I have it chopped how i want I hit create and it asks if i want to create a drum kit. I hit yes select my track and hit create. At this point it freezes and wont send my chopped sample to the key or pad.
